Aliens 40th Anniversary and Alien Earth NECA SDCC 2026 Booth Images

We’re on the show floor at SDCC 2026 and had to stop by the NECA booth to get eyes on their Aliens displays, and what’s here does not disappoint. After we covered the Alien 40th Anniversary reissue preorder not long ago, it’s great to finally see these figures in person and get a sense of how they look under the lights. The 40th Anniversary Ultimate Warrior Xenomorph is front and center, and seeing that sculpt up close really drives home just how much work NECA put into honoring the legacy of James Cameron’s 1986 classic. The detail on the exoskeleton, the proportions, the surface texture all read beautifully in hand, and the fact that this is getting the Ultimate treatment means collectors can expect a solid accessories spread to go along with it. Alongside that, NECA is also showing off pieces from their Alien Earth line, which is pulling from the newer FX series and giving us a fresh take on the Xenomorph design through that lens. The Ultimate Xenomorph from the Alien Earth line looks sharp and carries its own distinct vibe that separates it from the classic movie iterations, while the Ultimate Wendy’s Xenomorph is one of those deep cut releases that catches your eye immediately because it’s such a specific and unexpected pull from the show. I love how NECA continues to dig into both the classic film legacy and the newer material simultaneously, giving collectors across different eras of the franchise something to be excited about. Booth Images

Three Xenomorph prototypes share a glass display shelf, each on a round base with accompanying Ovomorph and Facehugger accessories. The 40th Anniversary Ultimate Warrior Xenomorph on the left has the most aggressive proportions of the three, with deeply ridged limbs and a segmented tail, while the two Alien Earth designs, the Ultimate Xenomorph and Ultimate Wendy’s Xenomorph, carry a leaner, more biomechanical build with pronounced ribcage detailing across the torso.

The Alien Earth Ultimate Xenomorph’s torso sculpt is packed with organic texture, from the exposed ribcage structure down through layered abdominal plating that tapers into the hip joints. A Facehugger and an Ovomorph with a heavily textured, pebbled surface sit alongside the figure as included accessories.

The tail on the Aliens Ultimate Xenomorph is a dense piece of work, with vertebrae-like segments running its full length and tapering to a sharp, bladed tip. Behind the figure, an Ovomorph with a Facehugger perched on top adds a nice display companion.

The elongated cranium on the Alien Earth Wendy’s Ultimate Xenomorph has a smooth, domed finish with subtle mottled patterning, and the jaw area underneath carries fine mechanical detailing along the mandible. A Facehugger rests nearby with spindly, articulated fingers and a fleshy underside, nicely contrasting the darker tones of the main figure.

The torso’s layered biomechanical sculpt transitions into narrow, sinewy arms ending in clawed hands with individually sculpted fingers. That cranium has a really nice shape to it, with the smooth dome flowing into the corrugated tubing along the back of the skull.

The legs carry the same dense, organic layering as the rest of the body, with ridged plating running from the thighs down into the digitigrade feet and their splayed, clawed toes. Up close, the matte finish on the body contrasts cleanly with the glossy dome of the cranium.

The Ovomorph’s petals are peeled back with thick, organic folds along the opening, and the pebbled texture covering the entire shell has a really satisfying density to it. A Facehugger sits beside it with long, skeletal fingers spread wide and a segmented tail trailing behind.

The corrugated tubing and ridged mechanical detailing along the back of the skull transitions seamlessly into the dorsal spines and the four protruding back tubes, all sharing that same intricate, layered Giger-inspired texture. The hands have sharp, elongated fingers with pointed tips that give them a skeletal, predatory quality.

The Ovomorph here is shown in its open state with a Facehugger emerging from the fleshy interior, its spindly legs splayed outward and the underside’s textured maw fully exposed. A Chestburster accessory rests in front of the egg, its segmented body ending in a small, toothy head.

The 40th Anniversary Ultimate Warrior Xenomorph carries noticeably heavier proportions than its Alien Earth counterparts, with thicker limbs and a broader torso covered in deeply grooved, ridged sculpting. An open Ovomorph with a Facehugger perched on top sits beside the figure, along with a Chestburster accessory on the shelf.

The Alien Earth Ultimate Wendy’s Xenomorph stands on a glossy round base flanked by two Ovomorphs, one closed with its dense, pebbled shell intact and the other split open with a Facehugger and its trailing tail resting at the base. Another Xenomorph figure is partially visible to the left, offering a sense of how the leaner Alien Earth proportions compare against the bulkier Warrior design.

The box art features a close-up illustration of a Xenomorph head rendered in deep greens and blacks, with the creature’s bared teeth and ridged cranium filling most of the frame. The green-to-black color shift across the artwork gives the whole package a moody, atmospheric quality.

The box itself uses a matte black finish with the Warrior Xenomorph artwork dominating the front panel, its bared teeth and ridged cranium rendered in a grainy, high-contrast style that leans into the horror. Blue lettering cuts sharply against the dark tones of the illustration.
