Anti-Eternia Battle Cat Mondo Exclusive Sixth Scale Designer Con 2024 Reveal
It is that time of year again as Designer Con 2024 is set to happen the weekend of November 15 to 17, 2024 and Mondo is firing an opening salvo by revealing a sixth scale variant of Battle Cat! This Anti-Eternia Battle Cat version is very impressive and is meant to pair with the Mondo sixth scale Anti-Eternia He-Man, which was a Designer Con 2022 exclusive. Like previous Designer Con’s we expect this Anti Eternia-Battle Cat to be on full display in all of his Glory! We will make sure to keep you updated on the price and quantity but expect this beast to launch during DCon 2024 as this will be an online exclusive.
The repaint of Battle Cat looks outstanding and the black and red color scheme really compliments the figure. The best part about this figure is the translucent gear, like the battle helmet and saddle. When paired with Anti-Eternia He-Man, this evil kitty will look even more stellar!
As Battle Cat is the stead of He-Man, we can draw upon the Anti-Eternia lore to understand where the Hell-Cat fits in! Anti-He-Man is the ruler of a dark realm known as Anti-Eternia, which exists within the Universe of Darkness. He is portrayed as the evil counterpart of He-Man and is recognized by his unique physical characteristics: black skin and red hair. In this universe, Anti-He-Man embodies pure evil and is considered unbeatable in combat. To draw on his strength, Anti-He-Man raises his sword and invokes the power of “Hell-Grayskull.” His journey to Eternia begins when Skeletor constructs a device called the World Converter, which enables him to open an interdimensional gateway between their two realities. Rather than aligning himself with Skeletor, however, Anti-He-Man immediately overpowers him, taking control of Snake Mountain. Anti-He-Man eventually confronts He-Man in a battle. Ultimately, he is forced to return to his own world after Man-At-Arms and Skeletor join forces to destroy the World Converter, thereby closing the interdimensional gate.
