Massive thanks to Masterversal Toyhunter for the heads up on this one, because Beast Man from the Masterverse Vintage Collection has reared his ugly mug on eBay, giving us our first look at actual in-hand production packaging, and I have to say, this thing looks fantastic. We’ve been tracking this release for a while now, going all the way back to when we first got word that Beast Man was headed to the Masterverse Vintage Collection, and then more recently when Mattel pulled back the curtain with official images, so seeing the actual boxed figure surface in the wild feels like the natural next chapter in that journey. The figure itself looks sharp in the packaging window, capturing that savage, wild energy Beast Man should always carry, but what really grabs me is the rear packaging art, which is just gorgeous. Feast your eyes on that illustration, because Roy Juarez and team have absolutely struck gold again with this one, delivering a piece that perfectly channels the spirit of those classic vintage card backs while still feeling fresh and dynamic. I love how the art captures Beast Man in all his feral glory, snarling and ready to do Skeletor’s bidding, with a level of detail and color work that makes you want to leave the card intact just to display it as a piece of art in its own right. It is exactly that kind of craftsmanship on the packaging that elevates the Vintage Collection line beyond a simple nostalgia play and into something collectors genuinely treasure. We also feel like this Masterverse Vintage Collection placeholder listing for Walmart Colletctor Con is earmarked for Beast Man and having him surface like this lends a lot of credibility to that theory!

The back of Beast Man’s packaging features stunning artwork by Roy Juarez and team, depicting Beast Man locked in combat with He-Man while Skeletor looms nearby wielding his havoc staff. The illustrated scene is set against a rocky Eternian landscape with dramatic cloud formations. Below the artwork, three smaller product photos showcase the figure in different poses, highlighting the included whip accessory and an alternate arm, all set against a green backdrop with an illustrated mountain range running along the bottom of the box.

Beast Man is packaged in a window box with artwork depicting an explosive scene of rock bursts radiating outward against a deep blue and purple cosmic backdrop, with lightning bolts streaking across the composition, which is all part of the box art we know and love from this line. The figure sits in a plastic tray inside the window, with his blue fur loincloth, silver medallion, and white face paint clearly presented. The surrounding artwork by Roy Juarez and team gives the packaging an energetic, classic feel with its bold color palette of blues, purples, and reds.

Sometimes the surprises in this hobby sneak up on you when you least expect them, and that is exactly how I felt when Mattel quietly uploaded the official images for the Masterverse Vintage Collection Beast Man. I have to admit, with so much of the spotlight lately focused on the movie-inspired Masters of the Universe Chronicles and the Core line supporting the upcoming film, I have been wondering how the Masterverse Vintage Collection would continue to evolve alongside those newer initiatives. Back in November 2025, we reported that Evil-Lyn and Wundar were lined up for future releases in this Walmart exclusive sub-line, which already felt like a strong signal that Mattel intended to keep building out the vintage inspired roster in the larger Masterverse scale. What I did not expect, however, was Beast Man suddenly entering the conversation, and I have to say that kind of unexpected reveal is exactly the sort of moment that keeps this hobby fun for me. The character’s inclusion first surfaced through the HEO website via Die Welt der Meister Magazin, confirming that Skeletor’s savage enforcer would indeed be joining the Masterverse Vintage Collection lineup. Now that the official images are out, we can finally see how Mattel translated Beast Man into this scale, and what immediately jumps out to me is just how heavily the figure leans into his vintage design language. That is something I absolutely love about the Masterverse Vintage Collection, because the whole point of this sub-line is to celebrate that unmistakable 1982 DNA while bringing it into a larger modern format. From the overall look to the familiar aesthetic cues that echo the original figure, Beast Man feels very much in line with what this collection is trying to accomplish. If the current pattern holds, there is a strong chance this figure could surface during a future Walmart Collector Con event, as the Masterverse Vintage Collection has remained under Walmart’s exclusive umbrella for the time being. Even with Mattel leaning heavily into the cinematic push right now, seeing Beast Man join the lineup is reassuring for collectors who love the classic era of Masters of the Universe, and it nudges the Masterverse Vintage Collection one step closer to recreating that original roster in modern form.

Beast Man is posed mid swing with his whip extended in front of him, the long black lash curling outward as his left arm stretches forward and his right arm pulls back. The figure features bright orange fur texture across the torso and limbs, a red fur collar framing the neck and shoulders, red shoulder armor and wrist guards, and a light blue loincloth secured by a tan belt with a circular buckle. Brown strapped boots wrap around the lower legs, while the head sculpt shows his open mouth with fangs and pointed ears flaring out from the sides of the head.

The whip is the clear focus here, coiling across the foreground in a wide looping arc while Beast Man grips the handle firmly in his right hand. His red shoulder armor sits over the thick red fur collar that wraps around the neck, and the light blue loincloth hangs from a tan belt with a circular buckle at the waist. Brown strapped boots cover the lower legs, and the orange fur texture runs consistently across the arms, torso, and legs while the figure leans slightly forward in the middle of the whip swing.

The hands are fully opened with long sculpted fingers spread wide, showing the clawed fingertips and the detailed creases running across the palms. Each hand has a slightly curved pose that gives them a grasping look, with the orange fur texture stopping at the wrists where the red wrist guards wrap around the forearms. The sculpted fingernails are pointed and slightly extended, giving the hands a sharp, claw-like appearance as they reach forward.

The figure features bright orange fur texture across the body, a large red fur collar around the neck and shoulders, red shoulder armor and wrist guards, and a tan belt with a circular buckle above a light blue loincloth. Brown strapped boots wrap around the lower legs with additional banding details, while the head sculpt shows the back of his mane and ears as he twists slightly at the waist while cracking the whip overhead.
