Clear Chest Plate | BAT GI Joe Classified Series Custom Review

Recently, we did a review of the GI Joe Classified Series BAT and something was lacking! Although the figure hit a home run in my book, I was looking to bring the nostalgic look and feel of the lenticular to the updated sculpt. I came across an Etsy seller, JsArmory, who sells all sorts of custom 3D printed parts for Classified Series figures. The one that caught my eye was the Custom Clear Chest Plate for the newly released BAT.
The chest plates come in a pack of 5 for your army building needs and definitely bring back that 80’s look and feel of the BAT from 1986. What I loved about the lenticular sticker of the vintage BAT was that is was obscured and little 3 dimensional and this chest plate brings back all of those feels! One extra bonus is that the chest plates has a Cobra sigil on them, which is great because the Cobra sigil on the BAT is on the side of the arm vs. front facing like the vintage figure.
With the exposed chest, it felt like something was missing and this chest plate filled that void…literally! I was not a fan of the black chest plate as it hid too much of what made the BAT so cool in the first place. I give a pass to the battle damaged plate because it is just so cool!
