Geldor MOTU Origins Mattel Creations Exclusive Official Images & Preorder

Get ready for the ruler of Foodar in the Dark Hemisphere as Geldor is coming to Mattel Creations! On March 21, 2024 at the Mattel Creations Revealed event, it was announced that Demo-Man and Geldor were getting Masters of the Universe Origins figures to be released in Fall 2024. Geldor, along with Demo-Man, was on display at SDCC 2024 in full plastic form so we know that the figure will look like! The Mattel Creations launch calendar has updated for November 2024 and MOTU Origins collectors will be getting some love. On November 12, 2024 at 9am, Geldor will be going up for preorder on Mattel Creations. The Geldor preorder page has officially launched!

November 5, 2024 Update: Full Set of Official Images

Geldor first appeared in the mini-comics in 1984, deeply obsessed with obtaining the Secret Liquid of Life – a substance that could reveal the secrets of immortality and make the person who consumed it more powerful than He-Man. You can see Geldor battling He-Man on the cool card art on the back as they duel in front of Castle Grayskull with some beasts in the background!

Geldor comes with a couple axes and he looks awesome posed with both of them (or one of them)!

He also comes with a shield as he needs to fend off other attacks from his foes!

Geldor comes with 3 types of axes, a shield, and a mini comic entitled “Plague of the Immortal.”

We came across an official image of Geldor ahead of the preorder. The images shows Geldor in a red rock Eternian landscape with him raising his axe with shield in-hand.

MOTU Origins Geldor SDCC 2024 Reveal

Geldor and Demo-Man, who was already put up for preorder on Mattel Creations, were revealed back in March 2024, were on display in the MOTU booth and they both have a Fall 2024.

Geldor came out as a figure for the MOTU Classics line and on March 21, 2024 at the Mattel Creations Revealed event, it was announced that Demo-Man and Geldor were getting Masters of the Universe Origins figures to be released in Fall 2024.

The MOTU booth was on fire at San Diego Comic Con 2024 as they revealed their Fall/Spring lineup for their Mattel Creations exclusives. There were 7 figures (not counting Extendar), which account for 6 months of Mattel Creations exclusives goodness. In the display we saw 4 MOTU Origins figures (Modulok was in the Cartoon Collection display but he will be a MOTU Origins vintage figure, 2 Mastersverse figures, and 1 figure, Vultak, making his debut in the line and following in Two-Bad’s footsteps as a Mattel Creations Cartoon Collection exclusive.

Geldor March 2024 Reveal

Geldor will be joining the Masters of the Universe Origins line! The Mattel team showed a very cool schematic which showed off the various details in the figure.

They also had a produced version of Geldor and he comes armed to the teeth! This was a figure that was produced for the Masters of the Universe Classics line and he is making his debut in Origins! The ruler of Foodar in the Dark Hemisphere, Geldor became obsessed with finding a way to extend his life after his wife was killed by a dragon attack. He began laying siege to other kingdoms in his ongoing search. One such attack led Geldor to kidnap Torgul, Grand Vizier of Vaderia in order to locate the mythical Secret Liquid of Life. Vaderia’s heroic Prince Dakon sought the help of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Together, they confronted Geldor in a stronghold in Ogre Mountain. During the battle, the liquid was spilled and a great Life Tree rose up, apparently swallowing Geldor in the process. Months later, Geldor returned, merged with the magic of the tree and now more powerful than ever. Geldor brings terror to all who get in the way of his quest for eternal life!
