Released in 2020 but new to us, this Mondo Man-At-Arms Exclusive Sixth Scale figure pays homage to the Man they call Duncan across the vintage and 200x years! By the Power of Grayskull, you too can have the Power! Mondo knocked it out of the park with their Masters of the Universe 1/6 scale Man-At-Arms! Featuring over 30 points of articulation, fabric costume elements, and a lot of accessories (and we mean a lot!), we provide an up close and personal look at the Heroic Masters of Weapons in all of this glory!

Box Art and Packout
The Mondo sixth scale figures comes with amazing slip covers and Man-At-Arm’s version is the door of Castle Grayskull in a cool scene that usually features Prince Adam transforming into He-Man in front of the door.

The outer box features Man at Arms in a salmon red portrait while the back of the box has a full color render of him laying waste to a Horde Trooper!

The inner box flap features the backstory on this famous hero, that reads:
“For two centuries, Duncan, The Eternian weapons master and combat instructor to the royal family has been called Man-At-Arms. Trained by the renowned tactician Dekker and a version of the Great Unrest Duncan was asked by King Randor to step into this position and fortify his guard with an elite strike force which he named The Masters of the Universe.”
The inner flap opens to expose a beautiful window display that reveals Man-At-Arms with his amazing packout!

Man-At-Arms has a layered packout and it is like peeling an onion. The front packout features the figure, his head sculpts, and his extra hands while his second layer features his weapons and accessories.

Figure Details
Man-At-Arms has a combination of soft and hard goods and the textures play very well off each other. The headsculpt that comes packed with the figure is his 200x look with his hair shaved on the sides. This version of head sculpt is made for the empty helmet, which we will take a closer look at later!

Chest, Back, & Belt
The chest armor is painted in the traditional orange color we all know and love but the details on this piece are outstanding! The large, pronounced hoses, mechanisms, and weathering really bring the armor to life like nothing we have seen before. There are wires connecting in the right places, giving a living look and you can imagine this armor taking on a life of it’s own. The back of the armor features more weathering and slots to hold his weapons and shield. The belt is super detailed and has a leather and armor look and feel to it with rivets and large gold medallions that bring it to life.

Arms
His arms feature the traditional green suit and his right arm has a simple wrist cuff while his left arm (and shoulder for that matter) feature a large gauntlet with a huge piece of shoulder armor that has the same weathered and battle scarred look as his chest armor.

He has a leather looking loin cloth that has rivets and his shorts are a bit short! His legs are green and have a nice muscular look to them.

The right boot features a real fur with a black traditional MOTU boot while his left leg features a huge piece of shin and knee armor that has a hinged flap that allows his foot to articulate.

Weapons and Accessories
Man-At-Arms comes packed to the nines, as he should being the heroic masters of weapons he is! The Mondo Exclusive version includes an interchangeable alternative Snake Man-At-Arms portrait and Orco In a Jar figure. His other accessories include a shield, a pair of goggles, a blaster, a rifle, an arm band that has the eagle insignia, and a large mace with a hidden surprise!

Some of the cooler addons to the figure are the armband with the eagle insignia and a pair of goggles.

It is odd to see MAA with a rifle but this version pays homage to the weapons from the vintage line and this rifle is a large version of that and is weathered to have a steel and carbon look to it.

He also comes with a sword with a gold crossguard and a battle scarred look. One of the cooler aspects to this figure is that MAA can stow his sword and blaster on the back of his armor!

The shield is highly detailed and features protruding rivets on the front with a very angular design. The back of the shield has a handle that looks like it is bolted to a piece of wood.

The Mace is so freakin cool! It is huge and has a hidden feature, which gives different meaning to the words ball and chain. The ball is a silver color that looks like steel and is pressure fit into the top of the mace. It has a real metal chain that sits nicely in the top of the mace and this gives you a lot of displayability!

You can imagine Man-At-Arms wielding this Mace in battle and wreaking havoc on his foes!

As this is the exclusive version, he comes with Orko in a jar, which is a very cute add on.

The figure comes with 2 alternate head sculpts and an empty helmet for his 200x look. Since this is the exclusive version he comes with a snake head sculpt that looks amaing!

You can give Duncan several looks that suit your shelf but the Snake head sculpt steals the show! The beady eyes and the exposed fangs and crackled snake skin really give him a fierce look.

The Many Looks of Man-At-Arms
With the various head sculpts, weapons, and accessories, you can give MAA several different looks!

A great accessory to pair his snake head sculpt with is his sword!

You can also imagine that MAA designed He-Man’s thunder punch shield and sword, given he is the master of weapons!

You can pair his blaster or pistol and shield with the figure to achieve many different looks!

This figure is amazing and you essentially get 3 different figures in one!
