Update: Masterverse Wave 20 New Eternia & Etheria Preorder

With a little digging, we’ve uncovered the figure details for the next Masterverse Wave 20 assortment, and it’s an exciting one for fans of the New Etheria sub-line! While Wave 20 was first revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2025, there was a bit of mystery surrounding one of the figures’ identities because it wasn’t clear if we were looking at Adora or her darker alter ego, Despara, but the info we’ve found points to Despara going on the box and now have confirmation. After going through the details, it also looks like we can finally confirm that 2 out of the 3 figures in Wave 20 will carry the New Etheria branding, a label that was curiously absent from the earlier Mantenna and Mosquitor releases. It’s great to see this sub-line making a comeback, connecting the worlds of Etheria and Eternia once again with some of the most visually striking box designs the Masterverse line has seen yet, and I’m even more pumped because we also dug up the official box front and all of the rest of the images, giving us our first look at the actual production figures peeking through the window box. This wave has also gone up for preorder and is now in stock on Walmart!

Despara

The figure comes packed in a sharp New Eternia Masterverse box that immediately pulls me in with that dramatic artwork showing her armored design in full swing as Despara, and seeing the actual figure inside feels just as striking. Looking closer, the she wears a gray and red outfit with crisp sculpted panel lines and a bold Horde emblem across the chest, plus a clean portrait with blonde hair that contrasts nicely against the darker tones of her armor. She also includes her mask packed to her left.

Despara New Eternia Masterverse Box Front

The figure features Adora in her Despara armor with metallic silver and deep red paneling that carries a sharp Horde design across the chest. The accessories include two alternate head sculpts, one showing her classic blonde hair and another masked, Despara, version with red accents and black horns, plus a silver sword with a red hilt matching the Horde emblem.

Despara New Etheria Masterverse Official 1

The figure is shown with twin swords raised high, and I love how the sharp red and silver armor plates catch the light as she moves. The masked head sculpt brings a fierce energy to the scene while the flowing black cape trails behind her, giving me a great look at how it drapes across her back. Spinning her around reveals the unmasked portrait framed by that metallic helm, and the segmented skirt armor, red gauntlets, and tall boots all stay sharp as she shifts into a new pose, really showing off the range of motion.

The figure shifts into her alternate portraits with a clean, confident look, and I’m really liking how the blonde hair sculpt frames her face while the armor still sits snug around the red and silver chest piece. Dropping the gear entirely transforms her into Adora, and seeing her in the simpler red outfit with the high-cut design and gold accents gives me a great sense of how versatile this release is. The streamlined torso and bare arms bring out the sculpted musculature, and the bright red boots and gauntlets tie both looks together while showing just how smoothly she transitions between identities.

Despara makes her powerful Masterverse debut in the New Eternia line, bringing the darker side of Adora’s legacy into sharp focus. Clad in crimson and silver Horde armor, her sculpt is sleek and battle-hardened, with layered plate detailing, a flowing black cape, and twin swords that hint at her dual nature. The figure includes multiple display options, featuring an alternate head with her Horde mask and another with her flowing blonde hair, capturing both her masked enforcer persona and the conflicted warrior within. Dragstor

The figure sits in the New Etheria Masterverse packaging showing off the tight sculpted tubing and wheel front and center that really define his look. His armor mixes deep blue, silver, and red with clean panel lines, and I can see how the ribbed hoses and engine-like sculpting along the torso push that techno-vibe even further. The large silver engine pack beside him adds more of that machinery flair, giving the figure an extra boost of visual punch inside the box.

Dragstor New Eternia Masterverse Box Front

Dragstor shows off the updated New Etheria styling with a bold mix of blue, red, black, and orange across the body, and the mechanical chest panel sits front and center with sculpted tubing running up into the shoulder area. His head sculpt features a masked look with bright orange eyes peeking through, and the backpack unit attaches behind him with clean detailing that ties into the chest rig. Instead of traditional hands, he’s outfitted with large black wheel attachments that connect at the forearms, and the lower legs continue the mechanical theme with angular gray armor plates and tall orange boots with silver Horde symbols.

Here he’s shown with the engine pack detached and held upright, making it clear that the unit doubles as a handheld weapon with its multi-nozzle sculpt and metallic silver finish. The tubing and chest panel detailing remain consistent with the front view, and the blue and orange limbs keep all the mechanical textures visible as he moves. From the back, the pack attaches cleanly over the black torso section, and you can see how the sculpted straps and vents align with the rest of his armor when it’s worn in its standard position.

Dragstor is shown using his wheel forearms in a rolling position, forward-driving pose, which highlights how the wheels sit flush against the ground and how the segmented silver thigh plates move with the legs. His engine pack stays mounted on his back and he’s ready to roll! In the alternate pose, he lifts each wheel arm upward, giving a clear view of the orange forearm guards, the black tire sculpt, and the overall articulation range across the torso and legs.

The texture on the tire includes stylized treads that add to the mechanical realism.
