MOTU Chronicles Wave 4 In-Box Images

MOTU Chronicles Wave 4 has surfaced in-box through eBay seller Air Hog Sneakers, giving us our first real-world look at Skeletor v2, Man-At-Arms v2, and Evil-Lyn together in their packaging. This is mostly a repaint wave, but the updated colors make a noticeable difference, especially on Man-At-Arms. His stronger classic influence comes through much more clearly in these photos, and the upgraded paint gives the figure a sharper overall appearance than the earlier version. We’ve also taken a closer look at the Man-At-Arms v2 in-box images separately. Skeletor includes the goblet accessory Mattel displayed at Toy Fair and later showed in an official image, but it’s fun to finally see it with the packaged figure rather than in a promotional shot. Evil-Lyn rounds out the assortment, and seeing all three boxed provides a better sense of how this repaint-heavy wave fits into the Masters of the Universe Chronicles line.

Skeletor V2

The box front pairs a large window with artwork of Skeletor in his purple hood, and the figure inside has bright blue skin, a yellow skull portrait, and dark armor with purple detailing. The accessories are arranged around him, including the Havoc staff, alternate hands, and Goblet.

Around back, a large character photo places Skeletor against a black star field and glowing purple rock. Two smaller views run down the left side showing him with his Havoc Staff and drinking from his challace, and the bottom strip previews Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, and Man-At-Arms together.

The side panel breaks up the black box with two narrow windows and a rectangular illustration of Skeletor gripping his staff. His deep-set skull face, heavy hood, and layered chest armor are picked out against swirling purple smoke.

The second side panel uses a tall sword to divide He-Man and Skeletor, with both portraits set beneath a glowing eclipse. A small spacecraft crosses the star field above them, and runic markings appear along the sword blade.

Evil-Lyn

Here we get Evil-Lyn in layered black and dark blue outfit, with a tall pointed headdress framing her face. The box also includes two pairs of alternate hands and a twisted gray staff topped with a purple stone, while the side artwork gives her a stern portrait against a purple star field.

The rear card gives Evil-Lyn a full-length character portrait, revealing the long split cape and the ridged armor panels running down her legs.

The side of the box features character artwork of He-Man and Evil-Lyn against a dark background, with the glowing edge of a planet stretching across the upper portion of the panel.

Man-At-Arms v2

The large front window gives us a full look at Man-At-Arms, with gold chest armor over a ribbed green torso and boots with a really nice paint app. A gold mace runs along the left side of the tray, and several alternate hands are packed around the figure.

The back of Man-At-Arms’ box uses a large illustration with hot orange light across his silver hair and armor, set above a lava-lit landscape.

Man-At-Arms has a close-cropped portrait with a metallic helmet, orange trim, green shoulder armor, and clenched teeth. Opposite him, Skeletor’s skull has a single red eye beneath the angular purple hood.

This side of the box gives Man-At-Arms a warm orange character illustration.
