Roy Juarez has officially revealed the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Wave 24 set of figure card backs and art! During the Wave 24 Cartoon Collection preorder, we got an early look Frosta and Invisible Skeletor’s card art! Buzz-Off’s card back was conspicuously missing from the official images and it may be because he is teasing the first Snake Men figure to make it to the Cartoon Collection! With two words, “:📺 C A R T O O N C O L L E C T I O N 📺,” Roy dropped a video that revealed the card back and art for Buzz-Off! Buzz-Off Card Official Card and Art

Buzz-Off is packed on the She-Ra 40th Anniersary card with his lance on his right side! This figure pays homage to the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Filmation episode, Disappearing Dragons. It also shows off the amazing and taleted work of fetch.franciscoetchart!

Kobra Khan Tease

Kobra Khan was a character that essential to the storyline in Disappearing Dragons! “Disappearing Dragons” is the 79th episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, written by Larry DiTillio and directed by Ernie Schmidt. In this episode, Granamyr enlists the help of He-Man and Orko to rescue his dragons, who have been captured by Kobra Khan and Webstor. It also marks the debut of Mekaneck and Kobra Khan in the series.

Wave 24 Official Images and Preorder

We’ve been tracking the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Wave 24 figure assortment on Amazon, which consists of Buzz-Off, Frosta, and Invisible Skeletor. Today, Big Bad Toy Store has fired an opening salvo with the Wave 24 MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection with putting the assortment up for official preorder! What is amazing is that the online retailer also uploaded official images. We’d already discovered the Buzz-Off official images and Frosta’s card font prior to this reveal but it’s awesome to more of Frosta’s and Invisible Skeletor’s official images!

Buzz-Off

We’ve come across the official images for the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Buzz-Off figure, which will be part of the Wave 23 figure assortment! Buzz Off looks so amazing, like he stepped right out of the Filmation Cartoon Series! This version of Buzz of reminds me of the Super7 Vintage style figure but with all the great articulation of the MOTU Origins line! The Buzz-Off MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection official images reveal some cool details and how the figure was designed plus we get to see what’s been updated from the first image of Buzz-Off, shown below!

With the official images, we can get a sense of the changes from the prototype test shot above and it looks like he pretty much looks the same but with a more polished paint app. We can also see that the visor can be slipped over his eyes!

Getting an alternate look at the visor reveals that it is a small part that is hinged on his head sculpt and we can also see the winged mechanism on his back, which allows the wings to articulate!

Frosta looks awesome on the 40th Anniversary She-Ra and the Princess of Power card and we can’t wait to see what her card looks like! She is packed with her translucent “icy” arm spirals by her right and left sides! She is dubbed the Ice Empress of Etheria and she came out amazing!

Her facesculpt has been dramatically improved, giving her the appropriate Filmation look she deserves! We can see her pictured with her translucent “icy” arm spirals in some cool poses and she looks great!

We can get a good look at her hair and her plastic cape from the back and if this is how the rest of the PoP characters are going to turn out, we are in for a treat with this line!

Invisible Skeletor

This figure was not part of the original Masters of the Universe vintage line, this is a Cartoon Collection release is a cool new translucent figure of Skeletor.
