Hot off the heels of the Amazon preorder and reveal of the MOTU Origins Multi-Bot, we now get an official look at the box art, courtesy of Roy Juarez! As Roy shared on his Instagram, “Constantly self-transforming, Multi-Bot is a mechanical plague!” and this packaging perfectly captures that chaotic, ever-shifting energy of the Evil Robot of a Thousand Bodies. What we’re seeing here is the international packaging version, with Roy teasing that the domestic box will follow once it’s in hand. The creative lineup behind this figure features the powerhouse Origins team we’ve come to know and love: Graphic Design and Art Direction by Roy Juarez, artwork by Axel Gimenez and @dc_alonso_colorist, toy design by @katanarama333, packaging engineering by @lpukhrambam, and copywriting by @yesreallyrob. It’s always exciting to see how this dream team continues to bring these vintage-inspired figures to life with a blend of nostalgia and artistry, and Multi-Bot looks oustanding!

On the back, the artwork explodes with energy as Multi-Bot battles in front of a royal Eternian stronghold, with heroes rallying in defense while Hordak directs the attack from above. The smaller panels below illustrate the interchangeability of parts, emphasizing the figure’s build-and-swap play feature.

The artwork bursts with energy as Multi-Bot wreaks havoc across the battlefield, and there’s a lot for fans to unpack in this stunning scene. In the background, we can spot Hordak riding high atop his Mantisaur, charging into battle as laser fire streaks across the sky. Above them, the Blaster Hawk makes an appearance, swooping in and firing at enemy forces, adding a great layer of motion and chaos to the composition. On the heroic side, there’s what appears to be a concept-style Teela design — her armor and facial features carry a unique look not seen in the existing Origins figure, suggesting that this could be an early or variant concept.

The close-up views highlight even more of the intricate storytelling and detail packed into the artwork. On the left, the golden towers of Eternos shine brightly behind Teela, who’s posed mid-command with a bold, expressive stance, while Man-At-Arms and a squad of heroic warriors engage a group of advancing Multi-Bot units. The blast effects, smoke, and layered perspective emphasize the chaos of the encounter. On the right, we get a sharper look at Hordak riding Mantisaur, charging into battle with blaster fire cutting across the sky as additional Horde troopers move in. The Blaster Hawk hovers above the fray, its cannons firing down, creating a sense of movement that ties the scene together with dynamic precision.

Behind her there are several Eternian guards making an advance, their metallic armor and blasters catching the glow from nearby explosions. On the right, Hordak looks menacing atop the mechanical Mantisaur, its segmented legs and serrated limbs rendered in fine mechanical detail, while the Blaster Hawk hovers above with its cannons flaring mid-attack.

A closer look at the artwork captures the essence of Multi-Bot’s dual nature, showing both mechanical heads in sharp contrast. The intricate linework highlights each segment of his modular body, from the riveted joints to the tubing and metallic textures that define his patchwork construction. The background explosion glows vividly behind them, emphasizing the power and constant motion of this ever-transforming Evil Horde enforcer.
