Robble robble! Huge thanks to @robdtoys, @preterniadotcom, Hardingstudios and @madhattertoyreviews for posting images from NYCC 2026! NECA is continuing their amazing McDonald’s Ultimate line and the Hamburglar is up next for preorder, and boy are we thrilled! This fully articulated 7-inch scale figure looks so much fun. He’s rocking his signature striped attire with a soft goods cape, and comes loaded with accessories including two alternate heads with interchangeable mask plates, interchangeable hands, a plate of hamburgers, a Hamburger Patch, and a Hamburger Claw. How cool is that?! I always loved the Hamburglar growing up, he was such a fun character, and seeing NECA give him the Ultimate treatment with this level of care and all those extras just makes my collector heart sing. You can preorder the Hamburglar now directly from NECA for $37.99 with an expected ship date of Q3 2027. That window box packaging with the opening front flap is always a nice touch for collectors who like to display in box and out of box. NECA is really building something special with this McDonald’s line and I can’t wait to see who joins the roster next. So let’s take a look at the NECA McDonald’s Ultimate Hamburglar!

I like how the soft goods cape drapes behind the figure, that yellow fabric peeking out from under the collar adds a nice pop of color against all those black and white stripes. His red gloves are a detail I hadn’t focused on before, and they really tie in with the hamburger-patterned tie to pull the whole color scheme together.

Grimace towers next to Hamburglar here, and you can really appreciate the size difference between the two, with that textured purple body dwarfing the 7-inch figure. It’s cool to see these McDonaldland characters together, and big thanks to the photographers who captured these NYCC shots.

Hamburglar’s classic black-and-white striped outfit has a fantastic sculpted texture, and that red tie covered in tiny hamburger icons is such a fun, faithful detail. His wide-brimmed hat with the yellow band, black domino mask, and mischievous grin all nail the vintage character design, right down to the red and white sneakers.

Hamburglar is clad in his classic black and white striped jumpsuit, and that oversized red tie covered in sculpted hamburger motifs is such a fun touch. I like how the wide-brimmed hat with its yellow band sits slightly askew over his black domino mask, and those red gloves and red sneakers tie the whole color scheme together nicely.

Here’s a closer look at the face sculpt, and you can really appreciate the mischievous grin with those two buck teeth peeking out beneath the mask. The red-orange hair sculpted just under the brim of the hat has a nice texture to it, with individual strands carved in rather than a smooth lump.

Hamburglar’s red tie is covered in a repeating cheeseburger print, and the sculpted folds in his open striped coat give the whole outfit a surprising amount of depth. His red and white sneakers have individually sculpted laces and soles, and the red gloves add a nice pop of color against the black-and-white stripes.

Grimace’s sculpt is covered in a bumpy, almost pebbly texture that does a great job of mimicking that soft, fuzzy look the character is known for. His wide eyes and open-mouthed grin have a warmth to them, and those stubby little arms with their four-fingered hands are perfectly cartoonish.

Grimace’s sculpt is covered in a pebbly, almost felt-like texture across his entire body that really sells the character’s soft, lumpy look. You can see how his wide-open mouth and slightly uneven eyes give him that perfectly goofy, lovable expression, and a Hamburglar figure is also on display nearby.

Here’s a closer look at the Ben Cooper Costume Series, and it’s such a fun concept: three kid figures dressed in cheap, vintage-style Halloween costumes based on classic McDonald’s characters. Each one nails that old-school Ben Cooper aesthetic, from the printed smock costumes to the ill-fitting plastic masks, and they all come with their own trick-or-treat pails featuring sculpted jack-o’-lantern or ghost faces in different colors. The Hamburglar kid wears a black-and-white striped smock with a red burger print down the chest, topped off with a flat-brimmed hat and a black domino mask with that wonderfully crude molded grin. I like how the Grimace kid is decked out in a full purple jumpsuit with a printed Grimace graphic outlined in gold on the torso, and that purple mask captures Grimace’s dopey expression perfectly. Something I appreciate here is the Birdie kid, clad in a red and yellow smock with golden arches on the chest, sporting pigtails poking out from behind a yellow Birdie mask. Each figure’s pail is a different color, white for Hamburglar, orange for Grimace, and green for Birdie, and they all feature slightly different spooky face sculpts on the front.
