Yo Joe! Super7 just posted a teaser on their Instagram and it looks like we’re getting a new ReAction+ Snake Eyes inspired by the classic Skybound comic “Panic at the North Pole,” and boy are we thrilled! This is such a cool deep cut choice for the G.I. Joe ReAction+ line. I always loved that Arctic storyline, and seeing Snake Eyes in that cold weather gear with those unique color choices is super exciting. The necklace detail is a really nice touch too, and it has fans already wondering if we might see Kwinn down the line. While nothing has been officially confirmed yet on additional characters from that issue, only time will tell! We previously reported on GI Joe Super7 Skybound Comic Cobra Commander ReAction+ Preorder, so if you picked that one up, you know what to expect! This will be the second in the new line of brand-new Comic Collector Series. So let’s take a look at the Panic at the North Pole Skybound Comic Snake Eyes Super7 ReAction+ coming soon!
The whole layout here is designed to look like a vintage mail-away ad, complete with a tear-out coupon at the bottom and a fill-in-the-blanks order form. The included Skybound comic features a snowy arctic scene with a squad of figures in green cold-weather gear pushing through a blizzard, and it’s a really fun throwback to classic comic book cover design.

The comic cover itself is a faithful homage to the classic G.I. Joe issue #2, with three figures in fur-lined green parkas trudging through heavy snowfall while an explosion lights up a distant base behind them. I like how the color palette leans heavily into icy blues and greens, with that burst of orange fire in the background providing a sharp contrast that pulls your eye right to the chaos unfolding at the research station.

The Trimpe and Abel art here is packed with great little details, from the white fur trim lining each hood to the red and orange web gear strapped across the soldiers’ torsos. You can see how each figure carries a different weapon, and the bubble gum one of them is blowing adds a fun, irreverent touch that gives the panel real personality.

Here we can see a close up of the included Snake Eyes figure in his blue arctic snow parka and green pants! He includes a skull necklace, blaster and backpack.
