The latest wave of GI Joe Classified retro card back figures are starting to land in people’s hands.Thefullforcepodcast on Instagram has posted in hand images by Shark Eyed Toy View of the new retro card back Dr. Mindbender figure! This latest version looks fantastic and we can’t wait to get him in hand. In the meantime, let’s check out the incredible images from the Shark Eyed Toy View review of the new Retro Card back Dr Mindbender GI Joe Classified Series figure!
Here we can see Dr. Mindbender in his retro style card back. He has a classic illustration with the digitized burst explosion.
Unlike the first release, this version of Dr. Mindbender includes his classic silver Cobra logo on the back of his cape and it looks great! I love his face sculpt and his clear monocle on his right eye.
Below you can see a comparison of both the original Dr. Minderbender 2022 SDCC exclusive and the new Retro Cardback version. You can see his pants are slightly different colors. Also the capes are totally different materials. The original is like a leather or vinyl like material and the new Retro Cardback version has a more softgoods style cape with the silver Cobra logo. If you ask me, I really like the new version myself.

It is great to see Dr. Mindbender get a proper vintage treatment with the addition of the Cobra Symbol on his cape!
