Skeletek Skeletor MOTU Masterverse Revolution Box Art Reveal

Roy Juarez has released the Skeletek Skeletor MOTU Masterverse box art! This is the third installment as he’s released Sorceress Teela and movie Evil-Lyn’s box art over the last couple days. Revealed at SDCC 2023, Skeletek’s ‘s box was on display but it’s great to see the art without all of the writing on the box so we can focus on the amazing illustrations!

The new Masterverse boxes are truly a work of art, integrating so many detailed illustrations and art, creating a feast for the eyes.

Here is a close of the digital art panels showing Skeletor showing off his new Techno Cult bod complete with his Havoc Staff Ram’s head integrated into his right arm! I guess Skelly can now emphasize with Trap Jaw as he has suffered a similar fate!

The rear box art shows Skeletor as he appears to be running out of the Motherboard temple with Tri-Klops and his deciples looking on!

A closer look at the art shows the stunning detail that was poured into the art, which as you can see Motherboard in her animal form.

Getting an up close and personal look at Skeletor’s face, we can get a close up of this Techno Cult makeover as this illustration gives me Terminator vibes!

He has oversized shoulder armor, a Rams’ head gauntlet, and he looks like he’s a mishmash of his former self and the Horde!

He comes in the brand new Masterverse Revolution box and you can see the art on the box! Skeletek was on the leaked list of Masters of the Universe Masterverse Wave 11 figures and he looks amazing! Here we can also see the incredible new packaging design with art from the great Roy Juarez and team.

During the climatic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, He-Man proclaimed “It’s not about us” which is a huge hint that things are changing accord to the lore, which is what the Revelation Series is all about! Despite Kevin Smith saying that the series was a continuation of the Filmation cartoon from the 80’s, the Revelation Series proves that it is rewriting MOTU lore and people aren’t going to continually stay in the same positions they’ve been in. They get with the times, people! WE know that Evil-Lyn’s fate is up in the air, Teela became the Sorceress but a new kind of Sorceress that can leave Grayskull willy nilly, Andra becomes the new Man-At-Arms, and Skeletor is left in a world he doesn’t quite understand. Angry that he didn’t help to defeat He-Man, Skeletor seeks out the only people he can rely on. He busts into the Motherboard cult and tries to usurp power from Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw, but this leads to Skeletor angrily attacks the Motherboard statue, attempting to blow it to pieces as Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw refuse to align with him.
