This deluxe mysterious new character Skeletor Reborn looks like he is being to be part of Season 3, as he is a character, we have yet to see in the Netflix GCI He Man and the Masters of the Universe animated cartoon series. This new deluxe figure comes with a large translucent green glove and glowing green power attack fire ball which you can attach to his hand, activate his waist twist and off he goes launching either one with his power attack!
This seems like a premium figure for the price point as it has a lot of translucent plastic to achieve that “reborn” effect! For example, the smokey blue plastic around the shoulders and back as well as the green flames coming out of his neck. The deep bolds and purples give this figure a regal feel and there is even a soft good loin cloth on the waist!
The translucent plastic is also present on the accessories and his hands and his head appears to be more a metallic black paint and those red eyes come piercing through making this one of the most unique color combinations for a figure with it’s mostly purple and gold color scheme.
Skeletor Reborn resembles the Skelegod character of the Netflix Revelations cartoon in his facial features, armor design and large stature! Let’s compare the two below. They both have those small skeleton heads, with large ram like horns coming out of the sides of their heads and large spikey shoulder armor. Also you will notice the skull face belt design is very similar to the skull face chest armor of the CGI Skeletor Reborn figure. So to me, it seems like they were reworking the same character for the two shows in slightly different styles.
