Plus, they also showed us some new Pipeline reveals from the 40th Anniversary for Return of the Jedi and the 20th Anniversary for the Clone Wars! If you want to watch the whole fan stream, you can find it here: Hasbro Pulse Star Wars Fanstream. These new figure reveals will be up for preorder starting Nov 2nd at 1pm EST, 10am PST. London Comic Con 2022 brought a gaggle of Star Wars reveals so let’s dive right in and take a closer look!

Return of the Jedi
Hasbro kicks the 40th Anniversary for Return of the Jedi, in a magnificent way with several new exciting figure reveals for both the Black Series and Vintage Collection lines! All the figures feature this brand new branded 40th Anniversary ROTJ logo featuring a silhouette of Darth Vader and that famous silver piping! We got some fan favorites and a new figure vehicle set as well! So, with that, let the celebration begin!

The Black Series
Admiral Ackbar
Kicking of the Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary, the Star Wars team brings us a new version of this previously released figure with a vintage Kenner inspired version of Admiral Ackbar for the Black Series! This new version of Admiral Ackbar has a lighter color scheme than his previous release and has a brighter colored skin tone to be more reminiscent of his vintage counterpart. Admiral Ackar has bright yellow yes and that famous yellow strip down his pants. He comes packed with his classic staff and a blaster gun! You don’t want to miss out because in the words of Admiral Ackbar…. ” It’s a trap!!!!!!!!” So be sure to check back to our site on Nov 2nd for all the pre-order links!

The Vintage Collection
Next up we had several Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary inspired Vintage Collection figures! Build out Jabba’s palace or the Sail Barge with these next set of figures! These new figure reveals will help complete your Jabba’s henchmen collection and will make for some awesome displays!

Saelt-Marae (Yak Face)
The first Vintage Collection reveal we will take a look at is Saelt- Marae, or as he is more commonly known as Yak Face! Yak Face comes with a light yellow soft goods clock and his classic staff. He is sporting that Yaky bushy mustache and is dressed in his vintage inspired outfit with the bushy chest, blue sleeves, blue pants and furry topped boots. He comes on a vintage inspired Star Wars Return of the Jedi card back, fearturing the newly branded 40th anniversary logo in the corner, and has his classic image on the front of the card.

Wooof
Next up for the Vintage Collection we get Wooof, or as he was commonly known to us in the vintage collecting community as a Klaatu. Woof is dressed in his skiff guard outfit with brown top with a soft goods skirt piece and his grey textured pants. He also comes with his vintage inspired axe staff and is packaged on a vintage inspired Star Wars Return of the Jedi card back. This card back also features the newly branded 40th anniversary logo in the corner and has his classic image on the front of the card.

Kithaba (Skiff Guard)
Next up for the Vintage Collection is or as we used to know him in the Kenner line as “Barada”. Barada was originally part of the famous last 17 figures as part of Power of the Force line in 1985. Now the Hasbro team bring him to us as “Kithaba” sporting his classic red bandana, brown bandolier, tan top, red pants and brown boots. This version of Kithaba has a much lighter green skin town than the original Barada figure which is a little bit of a shame because I think the brighter skin tone is more movie accurate. Kithaba comes with his vintage style staff and a small blaster that holsters at his waist. This figure will look great on your Sail Barage, for those of you who own one!

Nikto
Nikto is the last of the Jabba’s Sail Barge characters in this line up to be revealed today and he too is true to his vintage counterpart! He comes with a removeable headdress which is really cool. He is dressed in his vintage style outfit with a white, grey and teal shirt, brown pants and tan boots. Nikto also comes with a nice belt and blaster holster as well. He is packed with his vintage inspired staff and blaster. Nikto comes packaged on a ROTJ vintage style card back with the new 40th Anniversary logo.

Speeder Bike and Scout Trooper
The last reveal we got for the Vintage Collection was my favorite of all the reveals we got today, a Speeder Bike and Biker Scout vehicle and figure set! The packaging for this set is truly vintage style and looks like it came out of 1985! This truly retro inspired packaging features the Biker Scout zooming thru the forest of Endor on his Speeder Bike! There is a photo of the actual figure and speeder bike on the front corner as well. Then the biker scout comes packaged in on his own vintage style ROTJ blister card back! The details on the Speeder Bike look spectacular, and it includes a translucent flight stand as well! The biker scout has a new head sculpt with classic features and really nails it when it comes to his helmet design. This is a must have for any Star Wars collector! This was one of my favorites as a kid, and I will definitely need to pick up a couple of these!

The Mandalorian

The Black Series
Paz Vizsla
Paz Vizsla was a male human Heavy Infantry Mandalorian from the planet Mandalore who was a member of the Tribe, a part of the Children of the Watch, during the reign of the New Republic, living in a hidden covert on the planet Nevarro. Vizsla had a great disdain for the fallen Galactic Empire and anyone affiliated with it due to the Empire’s role in the Great Purge of Mandalore against the Mandalorians.

Paz comes with a large yellow jetpack, a heavy canon with a blast effect, as well as flame effects that you can plug into the jets on his pack. He also has a flexible tube that plugs into this pack. He also comes with a cool energy shield so it is great that they are introducing that into the line!

Bastila Shan
Bastila Shan, a Human female, was a legendary Jedi Master who fought in the Jedi Civil War during the fall of the Old Republic. Born on the planet Talravin to Helena Shan and a treasure hunter, her mother gave her up to the Jedi Order, believing that their lifestyle of travel and exertions was not suitable for her daughter. Shan was found to have an exceptional gift with a Force power known as battle meditation; which increased her allies’ morale while demoralizing her enemies. Shan sided with the Jedi Council when the Jedi Knights Revan and Malak rebelled against the Council and joined the Galactic Republic in its war against the invading Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders.

She comes with a double-bladed lightsaber in gold, which is the first one in the line. Both blades are removable. The team hat Hasbro took a lot of inspiration from the game and the worked with Lucas Films to bring a lot of the detail to the sculpt.

Darth Malak
Darth Malak was a Human male who reigned as a Dark Lord of the Sith during the Jedi Civil War. Before becoming a Sith Lord, Alek was born on the planet Quelii in the Outer Rim Territories. When the Mandalorians attacked his homeworld, he escaped the battle and fled to the Galactic Republic, whose immigration records assigned the name of his home village as his surname. He was trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order and was nicknamed Squint by his fellow Jedi, before eventually becoming a Jedi Knight. During the Mandalorian Wars, Alek, Revan—his closest friend and fellow Jedi Knight—and their faction of Jedi disobeyed the Jedi Council and aided the Republic’s war effort through scouting missions in the Outer Rim. He befriended the Jedi Padawan Zayne Carrick and, after taking the name “Malak” in order to avoid an arrest warrant issued by the Council, assisted Carrick in defeating the secretive Jedi Covenant. As the war progressed, Malak became a military general and gained a reputation as a headstrong warrior who recklessly charged into danger. Malak and Revan ultimately defeated the Mandalorians in the war’s final battle at Malachor V and pursued the surviving Mandalorians into the Unknown Regions. However, the two Jedi encountered the Sith Emperor of the reconstituted remnants of the ancient Sith Empire and fell to the dark side of the Force under his tutelage, becoming Sith Lords.

Malak comes with a lightsaber with a removable blade so you can display him with just his hilt. His soft good cape adds some depth to the figure and the red and brown colors look great together. His mask can be opened up, exposing his face underneath, adding a cool variation to how he looks.

Publishing

Scar Trooper Mic
“Mic” was the nickname of a Special Commando Advanced Recon Trooper in Task Force 99, a squad within the Galactic Empire’s Stormtrooper Corps. Mic served as the squad’s slicer, capable of breaking into and decrypting enemy computer systems. Mic participated in Task Force 99’s mission to the Ghost Moon in order to kill a group of Rebels hiding there.

This is a very cool variation of a Stormtrooper and the blue paint on the eyes of the helmet and the bracers really pop! He comes with a blaster, a mic antennae that is on the side of his helmet, and a backpack that is pressure fit so no more ugly peg protruding from the back.

Here is a closer look from the live stream and the figure looks amazing!

Doctor Aphra
After surviving her murder attempt from Darth Vader, Aphra tried to pick up her life before meeting the Sith Lord, trying to make her way in the universe. Along with 0-0-0, BT-1 and the Wookiee bounty hunter Black Krrsantan, Aphra searched for rare artifacts and tried to avoid the Empire whenever they both came into contact.

She comes with a newly tooled scarf and trench coat, which are soft PVC so they can flex. The goals was to get the figure as close to the cover art and she comes with a blaster and removable helmet.

Mara Jade
Mara Jade Skywalker was a Force-sensitive human female who was during different times in her life, an Emperor’s Hand, a smuggler, and later a Jedi Master who sat upon the Jedi High Council. She was raised as a servant and assassin to Emperor Palpatine and became a high-level Force-using operative. As an Emperor’s Hand, Jade carried out the Emperor’s bidding, killing Rebels and corrupt Imperials alike with cold professionalism, even as a young woman. As Palpatine’s assassin, she received top-notch training from experts in a variety of fields as well as training in the Force, which was continued by Luke Skywalker years later. After Palpatine’s death, she received his last command, which was to kill Luke Skywalker; however, the death of her Master caused her to go rogue. Eventually she joined smuggler chief Talon Karrde, becoming one of his best smugglers and his second-in-command. During the predations of Grand Admiral Thrawn, she was forced to work with Skywalker, and developed a grudging respect for him. During the Galactic Civil War, Mara Jade proved herself skilled in a variety of fields; she was a good pilot and mechanic and trained in the use of both a blaster and hand-to-hand combat even without relying on the Force.

She comes with a newly tooled head and hair, scarf, straps and goggles and the inspiration for this figure was pulled from many different comics.

Over the years, she continued to work for Karrde and interact with Skywalker intermittently, training at his Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4 for a short period of time. She was groomed by Karrde to take over the Smugglers’ Alliance and had a brief relationship with Lando Calrissian as part of that role, although she later admitted it was a charade. She also continued to grow closer to Skywalker and worked alongside him on numerous occasions, including the Almanian Uprising and the Corellian Crisis.
