Pipeline Reveals
Moff Jerjerrod and Nien Numb from Return of the Jedi and Cad Bane from the Book of Boba Fett are coming to The Vintage Collection in 2023!

Return of the Jedi

Moff Jerjerrod
Tiaan Jerjerrod was a human male who served as an Imperial Moff the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. Initially an architect and a starship designer, Jerjerrod was eventually granted the rank of Moff. Prior to and during the Battle of Endor, he was made commander of the DS-2 Death Star II Mobile Battle Station, partly owing to his previous work on the original Death Star.

Tasked with overseeing the space station’s difficult final stages of construction, Jerjerrod faced the wrath of both the Sith Lord Darth Vader and Emperor Sheev Palpatine when the massive construction effort fell behind schedule. Despite warnings from Vader that the Emperor would not tolerate any further setbacks, the Emperor paid little attention to Jerjerrod when he visited the Death Star, though he did authorize the commander to operate the station’s superlaser against the starships of the Rebel fleet when the Alliance to Restore the Republic launched its attack on the Death Star—a battle that culminated in the station’s destruction and the death of all its occupants, including Jerjerrod.
Saga Collection
Introduced in 2006, This first ever figure has been highly anticipated by collectors! Features triple jointed arms and a removable blaster! Includes a display stand and a random mini hologram figure! A capable but arrogant officer, Moff Jerjerrod commanded the second Death Star during its construction. His first priority was to complete the powerful superlaser, which was used to destroy several key Rebel cruisers and nearly turned the tide of the battle. He perished when Rebel ships managed to detonate the space station’s reactor core.

Concept
This figure was never made for the Vintage Collection so this this is a concept of what the card back could look like!

Nien Numb
Nien Nunb was a Sullustan male arms dealer and smuggler who joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, Nunb answered the call from his friend, Rebel pilot Evaan Verlaine, to help smuggle a group of Alderaanians off Sullust while avoiding detection from the Galactic Empire; the Empire was searching for surviving Alderaanians after the First Death Star blew up its first planet, Alderaan. He went on to further assist Verlaine and Princess Leia Organa in their mission to unite the surviving Alderaanians, during which time he helped Organa escape from potential Imperial captivity.
Only a few years later, Nunb became part of the Alliance Fleet and flew as the co-pilot for General Lando Calrissian aboard the Millennium Falcon during the Battle of Endor. Together, they fought against Imperial forces while attempting to destroy the DS-2 Death Star II Mobile Battle Station in orbit of the forest moon of Endor. Their battle was a success, and the Millennium Falcon fired the shot that destroyed the second Death Star and delivered a devastating blow to the Galactic Empire.
Vintage Figure
Introduced as part of the Return of the Jedi line, Nein Numb was a unique character and sculpt!

He featured a red outfit with a blue vest and his trusty blaster!

The Vintage Collection
Introduced in 2012 as part of the Vintage Collection, it will be intersting to see how they update the figure to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi.

The Book of Boba Fett

Cad Bane
Cad Bane appeared in the Dinsey+ series, The Book of Boba Fett. Bane once reflected to himself that the young Boba Fett sometimes reminded him of his younger self, but their relationship eventually soured. As his age passed, Bane remained bitter and ruthless, killing any who stood in his way. He tried to strike down his former ward Boba Fett, without mercy or discrimination. Bane looked at Fett with contempt for what happened between them, determined to kill him even if he played dirty.

The Back Series
Introduced to the Black Series in 2020, Cad Bane was part of the Clone Wars line so it is great to see him released as part of The Book of Boba Fett Vintage Collection. He is described as a ruthless bounty hunter from the planet Duro, Cad Bane was the preeminent blaster-for-hire in the galaxy during the Clone Wars. No quarry was too dangerous for Bane, if the price was right

Hot Toys
Hot Toys created a version of Cad Bane from the Book of Boba Fett series so it is cool to see what the figure might look like as part of the Vintage Collection! Following his first live-action appearance in The Book of Boba Fett, Sideshow and Hot Toys are excited to present the deadly mercenary in the Cad Bane (Deluxe Version) Sixth Scale Figure! This Star Wars collectible figure features a newly developed head sculpt with amazing likeness, skillfully tailored hat and outfit, wired long coat, a pair of blaster pistols, a flamethrower effect, and a display base. This Deluxe Version of the Cad Bane figure exclusively includes a pair of rocket thrusters for Cad Bane’s boots, and the bounty hunter’s techno-service droid Todo 360™ as seen in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars™ animated series.
