Our very own Michael of Toy Habits brings us a first in hand look at the new Super7 GI Joe Reaction Cobra Escape Pack!
Super7 had posted a teaser image early in the week of a subway car with some graffiti on it reading “Cobra” , “Serpentor 1” and “No Joes”. Well, Super7 does it again, for a truly fun April fool’s day release with their incredibly accurate Sunbow Cartoon series homage to the Cobra Escape scenes from the Pyramid of Darkness, when Destro, Baroness and Cobra Commander escape the Joes in disguises! This follows the previously released SDCC Snakeling Box set from the Pyramid of Darkness as well! Our very own Michael from Toy Habits got a sneak peak at these figures, so we have some exclusive first hand photos of this new box set below!
In Hand Images
Our very own incredible Michael of Toy Habits was able to get these first In Hand sneek peek images of the actual Cobra Escape Pack! The box set comes with an outer sleeve that resembles the graffitied subway car that was on the teaser image, with a subway directory above, Cobra logo and Gi Joe Logo. The rear of the package has wanted posters for Destro, Cobra Commander and Baroness
Once you lift up the outer sleeve, it reveals the figures within, with Baroness a “Nurse”, Cobra Commander as ” Old Lady” and Destro as “City Worker”. The resemble their appearance in this episode of the Pyramid of Darkness miniseries as seen in the Sunbow cartoon series.
Baroness is dressed as a Nurse with a white Nurse’s outfit, hat and her signature red glasses. She comes with a medical bag. Cobra Commander is dressed as the Old Lady with a wig and wrap on his head, and a frumpy red sweater, purple shirt and blue skirt. He comes with a shopping bag full of food. Destro is dressed as a city construction worker with a whote hard hat, brown shirt and workers gloves, a tool belt and jeans. He comes with a hammer.
