Beast Man Coming to the Masterverse Vintage Collection
I have to admit, even with so much attention right now on the movie-inspired MOTU Chronicles and Core figures supporting the upcoming Masters of the Universe film, I am genuinely excited to see that the Masterverse Vintage Collection is still quietly marching forward for those of us who love that classic 80s DNA. Back in November 2025, we shared that Evil-Lyn and Wundar were on deck for the Masterverse Vintage lineup, and at the time that already felt like a strong continuation of what Mattel has been building with this sub-line. But Beast Man was not on my radar at all, and I have to say, that is the kind of surprise that keeps this hobby fun for me. According to the HEO website via Die Welt der Meister Magazin, Beast Man is officially coming to the Masterverse Vintage Collection, which instantly sparks all kinds of questions about deco choices, accessories, and how closely he will mirror his 1982 look in this larger scale. If the current pattern holds, we are likely to see him surface as part of a future Walmart Collector (CANCEL) Con event, since the Masterverse Vintage Collection remains under Walmart’s exclusive banner as of the penning of this article. Even with Mattel leaning heavily into the cinematic push, it is reassuring to know that the Masterverse Vintage Collection is not being left behind, and adding Beast Man into that growing roster makes the shelf feel one step closer to a full classic lineup in modern form.

Errol McCarthy Beast Man Art
We are likly going to see an homage to Errol McCarthy’s work for Beast Man box art. This battle scene, set in a volcanic region of Eternia, captures a moment of tension and uncertainty. He-Man’s expression appears to reflect a degree of surprise at the sudden emergence of Beast Man, though it remains unclear whether the villain is advancing for battle or retreating from the confrontation. The swirling, brushed clouds in the background add a sense of movement and urgency, amplifying the drama of the encounter. The dynamic interplay between the figures and their surroundings highlights McCarthy’s ability to infuse even static images with a palpable sense of action.

MOTU Classics Beast Man
Beast Man brought the now-classic furry body into the MOTUC line, giving the Four Horsemen room to showcase layered sculpt work across the entire figure. The fur texture is deeply etched and consistent from limb to limb, integrating seamlessly with the established proportions and finish of the line. His head sculpt features sharp teeth, pronounced brow lines, and a wide, snarling expression that reflects the character’s feral nature. The chest harness updates the vintage look with added sculpted straps and surface detailing, scaled to sit prominently over the torso and balance the slimmer, fur-covered frame. The bicep armor carries a worn metallic finish with etched nicks and surface scarring, reinforcing the sense that this version of Beast Man has endured many battles.
