Tygra and Cheetara ThunderCats Ultimates Super7 Reissues

If you blinked and somehow missed out the first time around, I have some good news that honestly made me do a double take this morning because reissues don’t always come back around when you want them to. Big Bad Toy Store has put the Super7 ThunderCats Ultimates Cheetara and Tygra back up for preorder, and for collectors who have been hunting the aftermarket or waiting patiently for another shot, this feels like that second chance we all hope for. Tygra crashes back in with that unmistakable “Whoosh! Wooh-Pahh!” energy from the 1985 animated series, realized here in 7 inch scale with intricate sculpting and premium paint details that really bring the scientist-warrior and architect of the Cats’ Lair to life; he’s highly articulated and loaded with multiple bolo-whips just like in the show, along with alternate heads and hands so you can swap up his look as he defends the team or prepares to turn invisible. And then there’s Cheetara, who arrives full speed ahead and absolutely lives up to her “blink and you’ll miss her” reputation, also in 7 inch scale with detailed sculpting and premium paint, packed with alternate heads, hands, weapons, her flute, and communicators so you can recreate those classic scenes from the series; even the window-box packaging features artwork inspired by her animated appearance. If you’ve been building out your ThunderCats shelf and these two were glaring holes, this reissue feels like the perfect moment to fix that, and I wouldn’t wait too long before they sprint off again.

Yes, he comes with the armband corrected, and his skintone is a lot closer to the DX figure, with the shading not as apparent as the first release. A vast improvement. I bet he’ll sell out fast too. He should be in stock soon at @super7“. So this is an improved Tygra with corrected elbow pad and skin tones and better paint apps!
