Mighty Masters MOTU Mini Figures Wave 2 In Package Images

If you’ve been collecting this super fun line of MOTU minis, you already know how charming and collectible these little guys are, and now we’re getting our first look at the next wave featuring Battle Armor He-Man, Battle Armor Skeletor, and Trap-Jaw! How exciting is this?! I love how they went with the Battle Armor variants for both He-Man and Skeletor this time around, and Trap-Jaw is always a welcome addition to any lineup. There’s apparently still a mystery fourth character that hasn’t been revealed yet, so will we see another deep cut character or maybe another fan favorite variant? Only time will tell. So let’s take a look at the Mighty Masters MOTU Mini Figures Wave 2 in package images!

In-Package Images

Here’s a nice spread of all three Wave 2 boxes together, and I like how each figure’s color palette immediately separates them from one another. Battle Armor Skeletor’s cool purple and gray tones contrast sharply with Trap Jaw’s bright blue and green, Battle Armor He-Man sits between them.

Here’s a closer look at the side artwork on all three boxes lined up together, featuring He-Man, Skeletor, and Trap Jaw. The illustrations have a rich, airbrushed quality with saturated purples, greens, and reds, and each panel feels like it could have been pulled straight from a vintage mini-comic cover.

The packaging uses a bold red and metallic blue color scheme, with a yellow circular inset showing character artwork of Battle Armor He-Man in full gear. You can see the compact, chunky proportions of the mini figure through the window, with his gray battle armor featuring that classic red iron cross emblem front and center. Battle Armor He-Man has an axe chopping action feature this time around!

Skeletor’s packaging gives a great look at the figure’s chunky sculpt, with his yellow skull face framed by that deep purple hood and piercing red eyes. The chest armor features a layered bat-wing motif in green and silver over purple, paired with a thick black belt that has a studded, medieval feel. Battle Armor Skeletor has an sword slashing action feature!

Trap Jaw’s box gives you a good sense of his signature green and blue color scheme through the window, with that red helmet and metallic jaw sitting right at the top of the figure’s squat proportions. A yellow circular inset on the upper left features character artwork showing him armed with his mechanical arm attachment and trident, drawn in that same vintage-inspired airbrushed style. Trap Jaw has an action slashing action similar to Man at Arms and Beast Man from Wave 1.

The side panels of the Trap Jaw and He-Man boxes show step-by-step illustrations of each figure’s action feature, with red arrows indicating a weapon-swapping gimmick on their arms. The bottom sections lay out the full contents for each figure alongside their respective weapons, with Trap Jaw’s mechanical claw arm and He-Man’s battle axe displayed separately from the figures.
