Flip-Or and the Champions of Nefarity Wave 2 Kickstarter
I’ve got to say, I’m really fired up about this one, because Hatter Toys is gearing up to launch the Wave 2 Kickstarter for Flip-Or and the Champions of Nefarity it’s finally almost time to put your money where your mouth is. Hatter Toys is gearing up to launch the Flip-Or and the Champions of Nefarity Wave 2 Kickstarter, and if Wave 1 was any indication, you’re going to want to be ready the moment this thing goes live. We’ve followed this line closely from the very beginning, going all the way back to when early leaked images first surfaced and had us all trying to figure out exactly what Hatter Toys was cooking up, through our in-hand review of the original Flip-Or figure, and the whole journey has been a blast to watch unfold in real time. Now Wave 2 is expanding the world of Nefarity in a big way by giving our favorite greedy toy flipper some proper competition, and I love the direction they’re taking with the character because even though Flip-Or is fueled by pure reseller greed, he’s not really a villain in the traditional sense. He loves his buddy Cat-cha, he loves his Mama, and yes, he still lives in her basement, which honestly makes him more of an anti-hero than anything else, and that’s what gives this whole line its charm. The new wave introduces three new figures including Toss-R, Hound of Tarjayy, and Cash Grab Flip-Or, and those names alone tell you Hatter Toys hasn’t lost a single step when it comes to the sharp, self-aware humor that made the first wave such a hit with the collecting community. If you want to get in on Wave 2, head over to the Kickstarter page and hit that “notify me on launch” button and get those fingers ready to back it, because lines like this that poke fun at the hobby while clearly being made by people who genuinely love it are exactly the kind of projects that deserve our support.

Toss-R
Toss-R’s skull face has a ton of character up close, with that wide toothy grin, a single glowing red eye, and a sunken socket on the opposite side. The brown cap sits snug over the sculpt, and the “UPOS” logo on both the cap and the chest pocket is a fun parody detail that really sells the delivery driver concept.

This digital render shows Toss-R from all four angles, giving a full look at his brown delivery uniform, which features a vest over his yellow skin with sculpted spots and texture throughout. His silver mechanical arm carries clean detail from shoulder to wrist, and those sneakers with green-striped socks are a nice touch that gives the character real personality.

Hound of Tarjayy
The Hound of Tarjayy’s head sculpt carries sharp detail, from the pointed ears and angular snout to the crosshair marking stamped over one eye, with the other eye left blank and pupil-less. His white skin has a pearlescent, almost metallic finish across the full body, and the red fur loincloth has individually sculpted feathered strands that give it real texture.

The digital render shows the Hound of Tarjayy from all four angles, and the sculpt on this one is really impressive. He has a red spiked collar around his neck, a red fur loincloth held by a belt with a crosshair emblem buckle, red-trimmed wrist cuffs, red-banded shin wraps with sculpted strapping below, and large pawed feet with individually sculpted toes.

Cash Grab Flip-Or and Cat-cha
Cash Grab Flip-Or is loaded up here, with multiple golden mechanical arms extending from his back in a clear nod to Doc Ock, each one gripping miniature boxed products like a flipper hoarding every exclusive he can get his hands on. Even with all that going on, he still has a free hand throwing up the middle finger, which is honestly the most on-brand detail this figure could have.

Cat-cha’s green metallic dome has a gorgeous candy-coated finish up close, with the gold dollar sign on the forehead sitting between those angular cat ears tipped with pink inner detailing. The ribbed gold collar wrapping around the neck joint and the textured gold base with its vented grill pattern give this little companion a real mechanical, industrial feel beneath the cute cat exterior.

Cash Grab Flip-Or looks amazing in person, and the golden mechanical arms have a real weight and presence to them that the renders didn’t fully convey. Cat-cha sits beside him with that green metallic finish and dollar sign emblem on full display, and the P.I.S.S. Tank boxed accessory rounds out the setup nicely.

From the back, the golden mechanical arms clearly extend out of a large backpack unit mounted on Cash Grab Flip-Or’s torso, with ribbed flexible tubing running from the pack to each arm’s base. The backpack itself has a chunky, industrial sculpt with a green canister detail and various tech greebles, and the arms fan out in all directions.

Cat-cha’s front view shows that green metallic cat-shaped dome with red eyes, a pink nose, and a dollar sign stamped on the forehead, all framed by small pointed ears with pink inner detailing. The extended arms are a great touch, with articulated humanoid hands on gold mechanical limbs that plug into the body’s midsection, one giving the middle finger (as he should) and the other gripping a tiny carded Flip-Or.

Cat-cha’s back side shows a segmented gold band wrapping around the midsection and you can see the backside of the middle finger arm. The green metallic shell has a rich, candy-coated sheen to it, and those little horn-like ears on the helmet give the companion a lot of personality for such a compact sculpt.

The backpack unit has a storage compartment at the top, with small boxed items poking out of it, a functional detail that lets Cash Grab Flip-Or actually carry extra haul beyond what the mechanical arms are gripping. The sculpt on the pack itself is dense with industrial greebles, panels, and ribbed connectors where the segmented tubing feeds into each arm.

From this alternate angle, the flexible tubing running from Cash Grab Flip-Or’s backpack to the mechanical arms shows a nice curve and sweep, with each segmented arm ending in a claw clutching a miniature boxed product. His green helmet with the dollar sign emblem and gold visor catches some real shine here, and that sculpted beard poking out from under the chin is a detail that’s easy to miss in other shots.

Up close, Cash Grab Flip-Or’s green metallic vest pops with a rich sheen, and the dollar sign emblems on the chest are cleanly sculpted with raised edges. His open-mouth expression with bared teeth and that sculpted mustache give the head sculpt a ton of aggressive energy, which is a perfect fit for the character.
