Man-E-Faces 200x MOTU Origins Deluxe Cartoon Collection Official Images
It was just a few weeks ago that we shared the news about Man-E-Faces heading to the 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection as a deluxe figure, and now we’ve already got our hands on the official images that gives us a proper look at how Mattel is translating this design into the Origins format. Going from early intel, with tremendous help from our good friend El Cofre Geek, to a visual this quickly is always a welcome surprise, and I love how this render captures the chunky, armored aesthetic that made the 200x redesign of Man-E-Faces so distinct from his vintage counterpart. The layered armor plating, the broader frame, and that signature face-swapping helmet all look like they’ve been given the kind of attention that this character deserves as a deluxe release, which makes sense given the complexity of the gimmick and the additional parts that come with a figure like this. He’s slotted into Wave 6 of the 200x Cartoon Collection alongside Trap Jaw, Sy-Klone, and Sorceress, and honestly that is a stacked wave that covers both heroes and villains while pulling from some of the most visually striking redesigns of the Mike Young Productions era. Each of those characters left a memorable mark on the 200x era, and bringing them together in a single wave makes this feel like one of the strongest assortments in the line so far.

Man-E-Faces gets his 200x Cartoon Collection digital render, and the color scheme is fully in line with the 200x styling, featuring deep purple armor with dark red piping, gray chest plating, and olive-green accents on the helmet and torso. His helmet sculpt retains the open faceplate design needed for the spinning face feature, and he comes with a compact blaster accessory.

Man-E-Faces is shown here in his human face mode, with a stern, determined expression framed by the large gray helmet that wraps around his head. He’s equipped with a compact blaster pistol with a chunky barrel design.

Man-E-Faces is rotated to his monster face, with a green, snarling visage peering out from behind the helmet’s visor window, which matches his green panel on the chest armor. The heavy gray and dark blue armor on his legs features red accent lines running along the segmented plating, with chunky split-toed boots finishing things off at the feet.

And finally, Man-E-Faces is switched to his robot face, with a with a turquoise-colored mouthpiece which matches the eyes s. Running throughout the figure are thick maroon tubes and piping that wrap around the upper torso, connect beneath the chest, continue around the waist, and extend down the legs, giving the design a heavily mechanical appearance.

Like the Whiplash listing, the Target in-store scanner confirms Man-E-Faces as a Masters of the Universe Origins Deluxe 200X figure, with TCIN 94975034 and DPCI 087-26-8566 listed at $23.99.

Man-E-Faces 200x
This full body shot of Man-E-Faces in his Robot face gives a good sense of his overall proportions, with the heavy gray and orange armor plating covering his torso, arms, and legs while red trim lines the edges of his shoulder and knee guards. His size is substantial, and you can see how the bulky armor design across his entire frame justifies the deluxe treatment for the Origins line.

A close-up from the 200x animated series with Man-E-Faces showing his human face, the stern expression framed by the mechanical drum mechanism flanking his jaw and the tall helmet rising above. Yellow segmented strips run vertically along the faceplate housing on each side.

Man-E-Faces towers over He-Man here in his Robot face, the rectangular visor glowing with a teal slit across a blocky, mechanical head. It makes sense that he’d be a deluxe figure given that size difference, as he dwarfs He-Man by a full head and shoulders in the 200x series.

A close-up on the Robot face from the 200x series, with that bright glowing visor slit cutting across the mechanical head. We highly doubt Mattel would include a light-up feature like this in the Origins figure, but the face-swapping drum mechanism should still capture the angular, blocky design of this mode nicely.

Man-E-Faces in his Human face getting grabbed by Beast Man, with those clawed fingers wrapping around his helmet and armor. This would be a great scene to recreate once the Origins deluxe figure is in hand, especially with a 200x Beast Man alongside him.

A great shot of Man-E-Faces in his Monster face, mid-roar in a dense jungle setting with both arms raised, the horned beast visage baring its fangs. The mechanical drum housing and heavy gray armor on his forearms and shoulders really sell how imposing he is in this mode.
