MOTU Core Wave 3 Official Images
We’ve been keeping an eye on this one and the picture keeps getting clearer with each new look. After we got our first glimpse at what was coming for MOTU Core Waves 3 and 4, it wasn’t long before in-package images of He-Man and Man-At-Arms surfaced, giving us a much better sense of how these figures were shaping up behind the blister. The Core Kids line continues to carve out its own lane within the broader Masters of the Universe ecosystem, and these official shots let us really appreciate the card art, the figure positioning, and the overall packaging design that Mattel has settled on for this wave. It’s a clean, vibrant look that leans into the classic MOTU energy while keeping things accessible for a younger audience, which is precisely what this line is built to do. I’m curious to see how distribution shakes out and when these start showing up on the pegs, because that’s always the next chapter once official images drop. For now, feast your eyes on the official packaging shots and stay tuned as we continue tracking Wave 3’s rollout.
Official Card Front Images
The card artwork features a cosmic purple and orange sky with He-Man illustrated in the lower corner alongside a menacing Skeletor portrait looming in the background. He-Man is packed with his Power Sword and grappling hook displayed beside him in the blister, and his blue chest armor with the classic iron cross emblem is front and center on the figure.

He Man v2 MOTU Core wears a blue chest armor piece with a red cross emblem at the center, paired with a dark leather-look skirt featuring studded detailing and a medallion belt buckle. He comes equipped with a grappling hook on a cord, a short blade tucked at his waist, and dark wrist guards and tall boots with layered strap sculpting.

His head sculpt features shaggy orange hair swept across the forehead, with dark painted markings running across his eyes and down his cheeks.

Battle damage deco covers his arms and torso in the form of dark, jagged scuff marks scattered across the skin, a nice nod to the “battle damaged” variant concept. The chest armor has a metallic finish with rivet detailing along the edges and shoulder straps.

The grappling hook features a three-pronged claw design with sharp, angular barbs and a long shaft connected to a thin flexible cord. Those dark markings across his skin have a tattoo-like quality up close, with shapes on his upper arms that read almost like stylized bird or claw motifs.

Man-At-Arms
The official packaging shot for Man-At-Arms shows him displayed on the blister card in his copper and teal armor, with his mace beside him. A portrait illustration of the character in his helmet fills the lower portion of the card art. This recolor is closer to more a classic Man-At-Arms look.

Man At Arms v2 MOTU Core is decked out in golden armor plating over a dark green bodysuit, with sculpted panel lines and tech detailing running across the chest piece, shoulder pads, thigh guards, and shin guards. A light blue helmet with a ridged crest sits open-faced, and a matching blue utility belt wraps around his waist with a holstered sidearm on the hip.

His head sculpt is a dead on match of idris Elba, all framed tightly by that open-face helmet. The oversized gauntlet on his forearm is packed with mechanical detailing, cylinders and ports sculpted into a chunky weapon mount that gives the figure a heavy-tech feel.

The mace features an ornate, multi-tiered head with layered mechanical shapes and a long segmented handle. Sculpted ribbing on the collar of his green bodysuit adds a knit-like textile texture that contrasts nicely against the smooth armor plating.

His compact blaster has a blocky, utilitarian shape with vented grooves along the barrel and a squared-off muzzle. The golden-orange armor on his kneecaps and forearm guards has a warm metallic sheen, and each piece carries its own set of recessed tech lines and raised panel borders that keep the suit from reading as flat.
