Hideously Mutated Hero of Tromaville! Boy are we thrilled to bring you this one, collectors. Trick or Treat Studios, working alongside Varner Studios who designed the original 90s Toxic Crusaders toy line, is dropping a glow-in-the-dark Toxie that looks like pure radioactive fun. This 5-inch Entertainment Earth exclusive is up for preorder right now at $29.99 with a September 2026 ship date, and our friends over at Entertainment Earth are definitely the place to lock this one in. I just love everything about this release. The fact that Varner Studios is involved gives this figure serious pedigree for anyone who remembers hunting the original Toxic Crusaders figures on the pegs back in the day. Toxic Crusaders has always been one of those cult-classic properties that thrived on being weird and wonderful, and a glow-in-the-dark Toxie feels like the most perfect expression of that radioactive charm. How cool is that?! The accessories on this one are really fun too. You’re getting a Shield, Toxic Bandolier, Toxic Waste Drum Grenades, and a secret glow-in-the-dark weapon plus slime. I love how Trick or Treat Studios is leaning into the gross-out factor that made the original line so memorable. The themed blister card packaging is a super exciting touch as well, giving this the vintage presentation it deserves. For fans of Troma’s mop-wielding mutant hero, this limited edition exclusive is calling your name. So let’s take a look at the Toxic Crusaders Toxie Glow-in-the-Dark Entertainment Earth Exclusive!

Toxic Crusaders Toxie Glow-in-the-Dark 5-Inch Action Figure – Entertainment Earth Exclusive

The packaging on this Toxie exclusive is a blast of nostalgia, shaped like a toxic waste drum with a blue-tinted blister that sits right over a green and red hazard-striped card. You can see how the card art leans into that grungy ’90s cartoon aesthetic, complete with dripping slime graphics and creature silhouettes framing the bottom corners.

The shield is a real treat up close, with its bubbly, organic border sculpted to look like solidified toxic foam ringing the outer edge, all cast in that same speckled glow-in-the-dark plastic. Down at his feet, the translucent pink toxic waste drum grenade has a wonderfully grotesque little face sculpted into it, complete with a furrowed brow and snarling mouth that give it a surprising amount of character for such a small accessory.

Armed with his secret glow-in-the-dark weapon, Toxie looks fantastic here, and I’m really digging the speckled green texture running through the translucent mop head and handle. His torn orange tank top and shredded blue jeans are loaded with sculpted damage, and the contrast between the bright green skin, red headband, and striped wrist cuff gives the whole figure a loud, Saturday-morning-cartoon energy that’s hard to look away from.

Here’s a closer look at the glow-in-the-dark effect in action, and it’s honestly wild how much of the figure lights up. The green plastic radiates with an almost radioactive intensity across his entire body, boots, and mop, while the dark speckles scattered throughout add a grimy, toxic texture that keeps it from looking too uniform.

Toxie’s face sculpt is where the personality really lives, with those wide, mismatched eyes, that unhinged grin full of clenched teeth, and the way his headband sits slightly askew on his lumpy head. I like how the blue belt buckle and yellow wrist and ankle wraps break up the color scheme in unexpected spots, keeping the eye moving across the figure.

Sporting his orange boots with those yellow ankle straps, you can really appreciate the sculpted goop and warped textures running down his lower legs, where the green skin bubbles and oozes over the footwear in a way that feels genuinely grotesque. The blue jeans are interesting too, with chunks of green mutation bursting through in uneven patches rather than clean tears, which sells the whole “melting through his clothes” look perfectly.

Covered in those darker green speckles, his left arm and torso show off just how much sculpted surface detail went into the bubbling, warped skin texture, with raised lumps and uneven swelling scattered across his shoulders and forearms. Something I appreciate here is the way the orange tank top is sculpted as a separate layered piece rather than just molded flat against the chest, with ragged edges that drape and curl naturally where they’ve been torn away.

One thing I noticed right away is the striped wrist cuff on his right arm, with its red and white bands adding a small but fun retro athletic detail that fits the character’s everyman-turned-mutant origin. His hands are sculpted into two different shapes, one a tight fist and the other a grasping claw with fingers spread apart, which gives you some nice variety when pairing him with his shield or toxic waste drum grenades.

You can see how the toxic bandolier wraps over his shoulder with that orange strap cutting diagonally across his chest, and the sculpted pockets and pouches along it feel like a practical touch for carrying all those toxic waste drum grenades. It’s cool to see the overall color palette working together at full scale, where the lime green, bright blue, and bold orange create this almost neon-saturated look that nails the early ’90s cartoon toyline vibe at just five inches tall.

Here’s a closer look at the Entertainment Earth exclusive sticker that comes with this release, featuring a bright green circular design built around a classic radiation trefoil symbol in red and yellow. The bold “Radioactive Ugly Exclusive” tagline wrapping around the bottom is a fun, tongue-in-cheek nod to the character that fits the whole Toxie aesthetic perfectly.
