MOTU Chronciles Mystery Figure Listing Discovered on Walmart

We’ve stumbled onto something interesting coded on Walmart’s website, and while the details are slim, the implications are worth talking about. A new listing has surfaced with the code name “First Ones Chronicles Figure 9,” which points to yet another addition to the MOTU Chronicles lineup that Mattel has been steadily building out. Now, the big question is what exactly this figure turns out to be, and there are a couple of directions this could go. Given that Mattel has been weaving movie-related releases into the Chronicles brand alongside more traditional Masters of the Universe offerings, this could easily be another figure tied to the upcoming film, but it could just as plausibly be a non-movie character filling out the broader roster. What makes this particularly intriguing is the fact that we still haven’t seen a listing surface for the MOTU Chronicles Beast Man, a figure that collectors have been expecting and waiting on, so there’s a very real possibility that this mysterious ninth slot is where he finally shows up. Of course, that’s purely speculation at this point, and Walmart listings have a way of being both revealing and misleading in equal measure. Walmart has a long history of tipping Mattel’s hand before official announcements, so while we can’t confirm anything concrete just yet, this is definitely one to keep an eye on as more puzzle pieces fall into place. We’ll be watching this listing closely and will share any updates the moment new intel comes through.
Walmart Mystery Listing
The listing uses a placeholder “Image Coming Soon” graphic, so there’s nothing to see yet. The codename “First Ones Chronicles Figure 9” keeps the actual figure a mystery, and whether this turns out to be Beast Man or something else entirely remains anyone’s guess.
Beast Man on Evil-Lyn’s Cross Sell
While the image quality leaves a lot to be desired, the small cross-sell image positioned on the far right of the packaging appears to show a figure with the unmistakable orange coloration traditionally associated with Beast Man. Even through the blur and glare from the photo, you can make out a bulky silhouette with orange tones concentrated around the head and upper torso, standing apart from the other figures shown alongside it. Since this image was captured from the Allison Brie Evil-Lyn unboxing video and, of course, this remains firmly in the realm of speculation until Mattel confirms anything outright. Beast Man would make perfect sense as the next logical addition to the lineup but it could very well be the strongest piece of evidence yet that the mysterious Walmart listing belongs to MOTU Chronicles Beast Man.
