ThunderCats are on the move, ThunderCats are loose! Wave 16 of Super7’s ThunderCats ULTIMATES! line is now up for preorder and we finally have the official images to go along with them. We first brought you word when preorders for Jackalman, Top-Spinner, and Tug-Mug surfaced, and now we can get a really good look at what Super7 has cooked up for this wave. I am super excited about this lineup because it digs into some amazing corners of the ThunderCats universe, giving us a mix of Mutants and Lunataks that collectors have been waiting for. First up, we have a cartoon edition Jackalman, and I just love how this figure turned out. He comes loaded with accessories including his club, a rock, a blaster, an axe, two alternate heads, and three pairs of hands. Jackalman has always been one of my favorite Mutants, that cowardly but dangerous energy from the show just radiates off this sculpt. Then we have two Lunataks joining the party, and what a pair they are! Tug-Mug looks incredible with his stocky build and that amazing glow-in-the-dark broken Sword of Omens accessory. How cool is that?! He also comes with a blaster, an alternate head, and multiple pairs of hands. And rounding out the wave is Top-Spinner, the fierce Viking-style pirate villain, complete with a mace, shield, alternate head, and extra hands. These are some seriously deep cut characters and it’s so much fun to see Super7 continue to build out the Lunatak roster. All three figures are priced at $64.99 each with an expected ship date of December 2026. Our friends over at BigBadToyStore have them available for preorder right now and they’re a great option for locking these in early. So let’s take a look at the Super7 ThunderCats ULTIMATES! Wave 16 official images!

Wave 16 looks incredible with Jackalman front and center, flanked by Top-Spinner on the left and Tug Mug on the right, and all three figures look fantastic together as a villainous lineup. Jackalman’s warm orange and yellow color scheme really pops against the muted lavender and gray tones of his companions, and you can see how each figure is loaded with accessories from clubs and axes to blasters and shields. It’s cool to see how Top-Spinner’s compact, stocky proportions hold up next to the taller Jackalman and the barrel-shaped Tug Mug, each one feeling like a completely different body type. Tug Mug’s massive gray cannon arm and fur-trimmed bark-textured lower half steal some attention on the right, while his purple skin, small curled horns, and that wild tuft of lavender hair give him a look that’s equal parts menacing and cartoonishly absurd.

Where to Buy

You can preorder the figures at the following retailers below

Jackalman (Cartoon)

Outfitted with a tattered olive green loincloth, a thick brown waist wrap, and copper-toned ankle cuffs, Jackalman has a rough, scavenged look that suits the character perfectly. I’m really digging the headsculpt here, from the snarling open mouth and sharp fangs to the scraggly mane of fur framing his face, plus that dark helmet tucked against his shoulder and the perforated bone-colored arm guard add some great asymmetry to the design.

Jackalman comes packed with a solid arsenal, including a gray blaster, a large silver-bladed axe on a long wooden shaft, a gnarled brown club, and a small gray rock. Two alternate headsculpts flank the default, one with a fierce snarl and the other mid-roar, and three pairs of swappable hands give you plenty of options from open claws to gripping fists.

Top-Spinner (Cartoon)

Top-Spinner’s Viking-inspired look is really nailing it here, from the black horned helmet with golden curved horns to the asymmetrical black and gray tunic draped over one shoulder, all paired with lavender pants, black knee guards, and gold wrist cuffs. The mace’s chain has individually sculpted links connecting the spiked ball to the cylindrical handle, and the headsculpt captures a great teeth-baring sneer with those bright orange eyebrows adding a lot of personality under the helmet’s brim.

You can see how the skull-and-crossbones shield has a nice depth to it, with the skull element sculpted in a raised white relief against that warm gold face, and the rim carries a darker bronze edge that frames it well. His accessories include a spiked mace on a chain with a cylindrical handle, a round gold shield emblazoned with a skull-and-crossbones motif, an alternate scowling headsculpt, and a pair of swappable hands.

Tug Mug (Cartoon)

Tug Mug’s broken Sword of Omens is a fantastic inclusion, with the ThunderCats emblem sculpted into the hilt and the fractured blade pieces molded in a translucent material that glows in the dark. I like how the brown leather-textured strap running across his chest armor adds a utilitarian touch to that otherwise smooth, rivet-studded blue breastplate, and his spiked gauntlet on the opposite hand is a nice aggressive detail.

Here’s a closer look at Tug Mug’s broken Sword of Omens on its own, and the translucent green blade really pops with that glow-in-the-dark material, the jagged fracture point where it snaps into two pieces looking convincingly shattered. The crossguard features those signature curved claw extensions tipped in green, flanking the iconic red and black Cat’s Eye emblem, while the wrapped gray grip tapers down to a clean pommel.

The packaging layout gives you a full spread of everything Tug Mug comes with, and it’s a generous haul, including his blue blaster with a rope-like strap, an alternate headsculpt with a slightly different expression, two pairs of blue claw-like alternate hands, and the glow-in-the-dark broken Sword of Omens pieces laid out below. I like how the packaging border uses a speckled black-and-white pattern that feels distinctly different from a typical window box, framing that squat, wide-bodied figure nicely alongside all his gear.
