Fang-Man joins the likes of Orko and Grizzlor in Wave 25, both of whom we’ve already covered in detail with in-hand images of Orko and Grizzlor. The figure captures the essence of his look from the classic He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series and fits perfectly with the Cartoon Collection line. It’s been an exciting wave for fans as we got our first deep cut figure from the Filmation series, and Fang-Man is the final piece of the puzzle so let’s dive into the pics!

Fang-Man is packed with his Wheel if Infinity by right hand and is dubbed the “Evil Fanged Minion of Skeletor.” Here is the Fang-Man full cardback and this image is inspired by “The Time Corridor” episode.

Faithfully inspired by his appearance in the Filmation animated series, Fang-Man features bright blue skin, exaggerated reptilian facial features that might look eerily familiar but we’ll get to that in a second, and a long tongue extending from his open mouth. He wears a red vest with a vertical yellow stripe, orange wrist cuffs, and a black belt.

His red boots rise just below the knees and match his bold, colorful animated aesthetic.

The Reptilax head sculpt was reused for Fang-Man and it’s crazy what a simple paint app and eye change can do to change the look of the figure!

He comes wiht the Wheel of Infinity, a yellow hexagonal accessory with a red infinity symbol. You can also remove his vest for a more leisurely look!

Wave 25 Mini Comic: Future Tense
The Wave 25 mini comic is entitled “Future Tense” and is penned by the talented @joshuaskywriter! This is part V of the Horde Invasion Saga and it is a stellar piece of writing and visual!

In the opening pages of the Masters of the Universe Origins Cartoon Collection mini-comic, including Orko and friends, push their magic to its limits to reopen a portal to Etheria that had been sealed by Hordak. Their efforts succeed, and the heroes prepare to charge through to assist She-Ra in her struggle. However, just as He-Man is about to enter the portal, the Sorceress appears and redirects him. She informs He-Man that he has an even more critical mission—defeating Hordak’s Star Armada, which threatens all of Etheria. She sends him to a place “where the present meets the future.” On Planet Primus, He-Man meets an alternate version of himself—strong, confident, and somewhat surprised to be facing his own doppelgänger from another timeline or universe. This He-Man explains the threat and requests the use of Primus’s Star Armada to help combat the evil threatening Etheria. As he explains that Etheria is his sister’s world, the New Adventures He-Man agrees to help, affirming that the battle against evil is a shared responsibility across time and space. Despite the seriousness of the mission, he humorously admits he feels a little overshadowed, remarking that he thought he was the strongest man in the universe.

As He-Man embarks on his mission to defeat Hordak’s star armada, the battle for Etheria intensifies. On the planet’s surface, She-Ra and her allies, now bolstered by reinforcements, fight fiercely to defend the besieged Crystal Castle. Their renewed strength begins to turn the tide against Hordak’s forces. Meanwhile, in captivity, Skeletor is being relentlessly tortured by Hordak as punishment for past betrayals. Despite the pain, vengeance stirs within him, growing at a heavy cost. Elsewhere, Hordak is informed that the war is slipping from his grasp, but he dismisses the losses as acceptable sacrifices and commands an all-out orbital assault—even at the risk of harming his own troops. As his weapons prepare to fire, a mysterious signal suddenly interrupts all systems. From the cosmic rift, a familiar voice echoes defiantly across the battlefield, challenging Hordak with the bold declaration: “Why don’t you pick on someone your own size?” signaling the arrival of an unexpected force.

The battle rages in orbit as Starship Eternia opens fire on the monstrous threat, Monstron, with warriors on the ground offering their full support. Amid the chaos, She-Ra reunites joyfully with her brother. Following the successful defeat of Hordak’s starfleet, the heroes gather to plan their next move. Though She-Ra believes victory is at hand, He-Man cautions that Hordak still controls Snake Mountain and the Fright Zone, bolstered by his dark army from Despondos. Committed to finishing the fight, He-Man and She-Ra vow to bring down Hordak once and for all. While one of their allies must return to defend his home planet of Primus, he thanks them for their aid. As the siblings approach the Hellgate to confront Hordak, they brace for the coming battle—only to be stunned by the appearance of an unexpected figure. Much to their disbelief, the one they must now rely on is none other than Skeletor. The scene ends on a dramatic cliffhanger, setting the stage for the next chapter in their eternal struggle.
