December 2025 MOTU Mattel Creations Figure Drop

It looks like all signs are finally lining up for Dragstor’s long-awaited debut, and I couldn’t be more pumped! Based on everything we’ve been tracking and connecting from previous articles, we full suspect Dragstor is set to make his official drop on December 9, 2025, according to the newly updated Mattel Creations UK launch calendar. That date fits perfectly into the release cadence we’ve been seeing for the tail end of 2025 as this might be the last slot for MOTU, and while we once thought the November Members Only Club Grayskull figure might be Eldor, we’re now fully convinced it’s going to be the Great Black Wizard instead. Dragstor’s rollout has been one of the most entertaining to follow, from his first reveal at San Diego Comic Con 2025 to that surprise early showing at Oz Comic Con where collectors not only got to see his packaging but were even able to buy him on the spot! Watching this figure’s journey unfold has been a blast, and with a firm drop date now on the horizon, it looks like fans everywhere will finally get the chance to add this high-speed villain to their Origins shelves just in time for the holidays. While we patiently wait for December to roll around (pun intended), let’s take a revisit what we know about Dragstor thus far.

Oz Comic Con Appearence

Spotted in the wild at OZ Comic Con in Sydney, Australia, the highly anticipated MOTU Origins Mattel Creations exclusive Dragstor has surfaced in video posted by Chucky the Spiderfreak (GenX Family), giving us our very first look at the packaging for this figure! First revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2025. Dragstor has been one of the standout Origins figures collectors have been waiting to see in package form, and it’s always a thrill when a figure makes its debut outside of the convention showcase. To sweeten the deal, johnd_c has also uploaded a video showing off his action futures, which we have embedded below. With Mattel Creations scheduled MOTU Origins drops coming on September 26 and October 21, 2025, the timing feels just right for Dragstor to finally roll into preorder territory, and fans are hoping he will be among the next releases. Seeing the packaging out in the wild adds another layer of excitement, especially for a figure like Dragstor that holds such a unique place in the MOTU lineup, and with the countdown to the upcoming Creations sale dates already ticking, collectors are keeping their eyes peeled for official confirmation. Dragstor was spotted on the shelf at the con, shown in his Masters of the Universe Origins Mattel Creations deluxe exclusive packaging!

Dragstor comes packed in a deluxe Masters of the Universe Origins Mattel Creations exclusive box featuring striking artwork of him racing forward with sparks flying beneath his wheel chest, showing off his speed and power. The front of the package has the 40th anniversary logo along with a bold illustration of Dragstor in motion. The figure is decked out in his classic blue suit with orange gloves and boots, silver tubing running across his chest, and his signature wheel embedded in his torso.

The back of the box shows Dragstor bursting forward with flames and sparks while he blazes through Rattlor and Tung Lashor!

Dragstor wa revealed st SDCC 2025 he looks amazing! In a stunning homage to his vintage counter part, he comes with his rid cord to make his action feature work! It looks like he has his wheel in his chest as well!
