Destro and Quick Kick Ninja Force Super7 GI Joe ReAction+ Card Back Images
Card-back images for Super7’s G.I. Joe ReAction+ Ninja Force Destro and Ninja Force Quick Kick have surfaced through the Super7 G.I. Joe ReAction+ Figures Collectors group on Facebook, giving us a better look at both releases while also confirming the full Wave 10 assortment. Destro and Quick Kick are joined in the wave by Arctic Baroness, Flint, Shipwreck, and SNAKE Armor, matching the figures that previously turned up at a toy store in Indonesia. We recently covered high-resolution images and video of Wave 10, but seeing the lineup together on the packaging removes any lingering uncertainty about how Super7 is grouping these figures. Ninja Force Destro is still one of the stranger redesigns from the later years of the original G.I. Joe line, which makes him exactly the kind of version I like seeing ReAction+ revisit, while Quick Kick gives the theme another character beyond the more familiar Snake Eyes and Jinx pairing. That duo is also returning separately in Hasbro’s Target-exclusive G.I. Joe Classified Series two-pack, making Ninja Force unusually well represented across both lines.
Ninja Force Destro
His bio reads: Destro, Ninja Weapons Supplier. File Name: CLASSIFIED; Primary Military Specialty: Weapons Supplier; Secondary Military Specialty: Warlord; Birthplace: CLASSIFIED. “I’ll learn any martial art if it helps me sell more munitions!” Destro is the faceless power behind Cobra Ninja Force and the provider of their cutting-edge weaponry. To Destro, war is man’s most natural state: the fittest survive, and the greatest technological advances are made. He maintains a luxurious lifestyle around the world. Destro provides weapons to any side able to meet his price and will incite war where it does not exist. He dons his silver battle mask and samurai helmet (a family tradition) and enters battle himself, either with Cobra Ninja Force or against them if it’s better for business.
Ninja Force Quick Kick
His bio reads: Quick Kick, Silent Weapons. File Name: Ito, MacArthur; Primary Military Specialty: Infantry; Secondary Military Specialty: Intelligence; Birthplace: Los Angeles, CA. “You want to gain access to a fortified villa. Twelve foot tall continuous wall topped with razor-spiral and only one gate through it. How to do it? Have Quick Kick hit it, that’s how!” Subject’s Japanese father and Korean mother owned a grocery store in Watts. Not accepted in his neighborhood, Quick Kick turned to martial arts. All martial arts. He is a ranking black belt in Taekwando, Goju-Ryu, Southern Praying Mantis Kung-Fu, Tai-Chi Sword, Zen Sword, and Wing Chun. He was working as a stunt man in Hollywood when he was recruited for the G.I. Joe team.
