DIRE Hawk GI Joe Classified Series In Stock on Walmart

Huge thanks to @toyhuntersholler on Instagram for the heads up that the G.I. Joe Classified Series DIRE Hawk is in stock and ready to ship from Walmart for $42.97, as of the penning of this article. The Walmart listing uses the code name GIJ OR JJ GHOST, but this is the DIRE Hawk figure we previously saw when it was first discovered on eBay and later showed up at Walmart. I’m really happy to see this one finally available to order today rather than simply turning up through another early listing. Walmart stock can change quickly, so check the current status after the jump.

Here’s a closer look at the D.I.R.E. Hawk packaging fresh out of a shipping case at Walmart. The box art features a dark, carbon fiber-textured design with a prominent red Cobra sigil in the lower left corner and a green D.I.R.E. Tech emblem in the upper left, framing a window that shows the figure tucked inside with what looks like a gold-colored weapon and tactical gear.

Here are some fun shots of a full case of D.I.R.E. Hawk figures stacked neatly in a shipping box, six deep. Each box shows the same dark carbon fiber texture with that red Cobra sigil repeating down the row, and you can see the small clear windows on each package hinting at the figure inside.

The back of D.I.R.E. Hawk’s packaging features an illustration of the character with his green wings and energy effect, along with closer looks at the alternate masked head, the wings from the back, and the helmet. Blue technical graphics fill out the rest of the packaging.

Both sides of D.I.R.E. Hawk’s packaging feature character illustrations, including a full-color image of Hawk reaching forward with one of his green wings visible behind him. The opposite panel uses a blue-tinted version of the artwork alongside the Cobra logo and a series of small technical graphics.
