Geoffrey is Back! Toys R Us Opens Flagship Store in So Cal

I don’t want to grow up, I’m a Toys R Us kid! Get ready because Geoffrey is back and we can’t be more excited! We were lucky enough to attend the Grand Opening event for the new Toys R Us Flagship Store in Camarillo, California at the Camarillo Premium Outlets! We got a first hand look at the inside of the store before the doors opened to the public, plus we attended the Grand Opening Ribbon cutting celebration and spoke to the Mayor of Camarillo and some of the Toys R Us employees as well! It was so heart warming to see so many excited people with just shear joy in the faces at the opening of a Toys R Us store! To be lucky enough to attend and be part of the celebration was just such a memorable experience! So let’s check out the new Toys R Us flagship store at the Camarillo Premium Outlet mall next to the Panera Bread in Camarillo California!
There was a massive line with hundreds of people waiting to get into the store at the Grand Opening! Fresh from completion, they still didnt have their permanent signage on the exterior, but the cute hanging blade sign was unmistakable!
The windows from the exterior show case Geoffrey through the years, and look a Geoffrey’s Candy Cafe is coming soon too!
The staff was super excited to be celebrating the Grand Opening of this new Flagship store and posed for a photo together!
There were hundreds of people inline waiting to get in!
The management staff was super friendly and they allowed me to tour the store before it was open to the public. So let’s take a look inside! Walking in the store is so clean and bright and organized amazingly! This was like a dream come true! Look at the graphics on the walls! “I’m a Toys R Us kid!”

Walking in, my eyes immediately go to the huge plushy Geoffrey display at the front of the store! Look at all those gorgous plushies! Gonna have to take one home for sure!
I love the birthday celebration Geoffrey’s so you know Im gonna grab one of those when the store opens! There were also other giant giraffes and Disney plushies as well.
One side had huge claw machines that would to the Candy Cafe that is coming soon.
I loved the Geoffrey thru the years wall display!
Looking for action figures, they got you covered!
A huge Funko Pop display is in the middle of the store, where you can take a selfie inside the box. A huge section of plushies on one side of the store.
There were hundreds of people waiting outside for Geoffrey to make his appearance!
And when Geoffrey finally made his appearance, everyone outside started chanting “Geoffrey, Geoffrey”!
The crowd was so happy and excited to see Geoffrey! Love was in the air!

Once the doors opened, all bets were off! The store was packed and merchandise was flying off the shelves!
I was the first to check out at the register, and got to interview the kid who cut the ribbon!
People were lining up to take photos with Geoffrey!
There’s nothing like the joy in people’s faces when they get to take a photo with Geoffrey!
