A Wintry Mix
Concurrent with my analysis of the capabilities of the GI. Joe SnowC.A.T. (Combat All-Terrain) Vehicle and the somewhat shocking success of their HasLab project, Cobra Commander made a rather flippant declaration amidst one of his usual tirades. To combat the Joe’s impending advances in the arctic arms race, he suggested that I “slap some white paint” on my technological terror, the HIgh-Speed Sentry.
As though that would suffice to adequately prepare them for the rigors of sub-zero temperature combat. Ludicrous. I do not suffer fools lightly and fools who attempt to skirt the precisions required of weapons design never. Even under such an accelerated manufacture schedule, I, Destro, have successfully reconfigured my creation, with some modest modifications, and am ready to unleash it upon the world
A New Weapon for a New Theater of Operation

A New Weapon for a New Theater of Operation
Retrofitting the Sentry for such a frigid clime necessitated the removal of the electronic lighting features. Similarly, the Diablo cannons were ill-suited for this particular incarnation. I have, however, made several significant technological enhancements and modifications to counter the Joe’s meager advancements in their own arsenal. The hexagonal camouflage adds additional armor plating to the hull.

The interior has really cool details with the control panels of the cockpit and really detailed seat with seatbelt.

Lean and sleek, the Arctic Assault H.I.S.S. measures 19.6″ (50 cm) long and stands 12.6.” (32 cm) tall. The single cockpit seat affords a narrower silhouette than the Joe’s SnowC.A.T. while still providing ample rear cargo storage and troop transport at a mere 9″ (22.9 cm) wide.

Arctic HISS NYCC 2025 Reveal
A surprise reveal was the Arctic Assault HISS Tank, displayed later at the Hasbro booth. This vehicle will be offered as a made-to-order item through Hasbro Pulse later in 2025, similar to HasLab campaigns but without upfront charging. Fans will have a 30-day preorder window, and production numbers will be based on total orders received. The vehicle will ship in late 2026 and is confirmed to be priced below the original HasLab HISS. The snow-themed repaint includes new accessories to pair with previous HasLab releases.

The vehicle features an impressive rocket launcher array mounted on the top deck, with six red-tipped missiles angled for an aggressive ready-to-fire look. The launcher sits on a rotating base, flanked by a heavy machine gun for additional firepower. Along the body, a subtle digital camouflage pattern runs through the icy white armor panels, accented by the bold red “724” markings and “Arctic Assault” insignia. The texturing on the treads and plating adds a rugged, cold-weather feel that matches its specialized arctic theme.

Up close and personal with the rocket launchers and the armory up at the turret!

Here are some alternate views of the HISS!

The figure paired with the Arctic HISS uses the body of a Snow Serpent but swaps in a HISS Driver-style helmet for a unique cold-weather hybrid look. The figure’s outfit features layered white and gray tones, with textured fur lining across the shoulders and collar that gives off an insulated, winterized vibe. The black tactical harness straps and silver buckles contrast against the frosted suit, while the Cobra insignia on the upper arm adds a pop of red detail. The golden visor and dark faceplate tie back to the HISS Driver aesthetic, giving this arctic operative a distinct, unified appearance with the vehicle it’s displayed beside.

While Lenny was setting up the display, he pulled this Arctic HISS figure out so I could get a clean look at him, and wow, up close you can really appreciate the detail. The figure features a textured white parka with fur sculpting that contrasts nicely against the sleek black tactical harness and gear. His helmet sports a crisp white finish with a gold visor stripe over a dark faceplate.
