Sneak Peek is one of those really cool deep cut characters that I always loved from the original A Real American Hero lineup, and seeing him get the Night Force treatment in the Classified Series is so much fun. The Night Force subset has been a favorite among Joe collectors for years, pulling from that amazing 1988 subline that gave us those sleek dark redecos, and Hasbro continues to tap into that nostalgia in the best way possible. I love how they keep expanding this corner of the Classified line with characters that mean so much to the community. Sneak Peek’s headset mic curves precisely along his cheek, with the boom arm terminating in a small, sculpted microphone piece that sits just below his lower lip. The quad-rotor drone displayed alongside him has four distinct rotors with textured blade guards, and its compact, angular body looks like it belongs in his kit.

Sneak Peek carries a chunky piece of tactical equipment here, what looks like a dual-wheeled reconnaissance device with spiked tread wheels and a boxy housing that’s unlike anything else in his loadout. I like how the small handheld controller with its red screen display pairs with this gear, suggesting a remote-operated setup that fits perfectly with his recon specialist role.

Sporting his night vision goggles on a raised mount, Sneak Peek grips what appears to be the binocular harness unit near his chin, and the sculpted chin strap pulls taut across his jaw in a way that sells the weight of all that headgear. One thing I noticed right away is how well the wrist articulation allows a natural two-handed grip, with those individually sculpted glove fingers wrapping convincingly around the barrel and stock. Sneak Peek’s assault rifle has serious length to it, with the barrel extending well past the helmet line and that squared-off muzzle brake capping it off cleanly. I noticed that the grey sleeve fabric bunches naturally around his forearms where the gloves meet, a small sculpting choice that keeps the layered kit feeling believable.
