The Vamp has always been one of the most iconic vehicles in the entire Joe lineup, and seeing the Mark II version finally getting the Classified Series treatment is super exciting. I always loved the Vamp Mark II as a kid, that upgraded design with the missile rack just hit different, and Hasbro looks to have done an amazing job translating it into the six inch scale. Clutch behind the wheel is exactly where he belongs, and the level of detail on this vehicle looks stunning. How cool is that?! Packaging

The front of the box features a beautifully illustrated desert scene with the VAMP Mark II and Clutch, showing off the vehicle’s tan and olive drab color scheme, chunky off-road tires, and a row of golden auxiliary lights across the front bumper and roll cage. You can see how the artwork really sells the scale of this set, with Clutch standing next to the vehicle in his desert fatigues and helmet.

Here’s a closer look at the back of the VAMP Mark II and Clutch packaging, and it does a great job laying out everything included. The box art features a detailed blueprint-style spread of the vehicle in its tan desert deco alongside Clutch and a full accessory breakdown, with inset photos highlighting the turret mount and rear storage compartment.

It’s nice to see the full spread of everything that comes with the VAMP Mark II, from the detachable front storage crate and rear equipment panel to those translucent amber muzzle blast effects laid out at Clutch’s feet. The stacked spare tires off to the side have deep, individually sculpted tread grooves, and the white missile rack mounted on the vehicle’s roof adds a welcome pop of contrast against all that desert tan and black.

Vehicle Details

Here’s a closer look at the VAMP Mark II from the front, and the sheer presence of this vehicle is something else. The triple amber fog lights on the front bull bar match the row of six amber lights running across the top of the windshield, and the “UNITED STATES” lettering stamped in gold across the dark hood panel sits right above a sculpted equipment box and what appears to be a folded shovel.

The VAMP Mark II’s driver-side profile really shows off how well the tan and black two-tone armor panels break up the silhouette, with the dark gray louvered side vents and “6022” bumper stenciling adding military authenticity. That roof-mounted missile rack with its hinged tan cover sits at an imposing angle, and the four gray missile tips lined up underneath give the whole vehicle a serious amount of firepower up top.

Clutch looks great next to the VAMP Mark II, and you can really appreciate how the tan and black color scheme ties the figure and vehicle together as a cohesive set. The missile rack mounted on the roof turret has its tan launch cover angled upward, with the gray missile tips peeking out from underneath, and a “CAUTION” stencil stamped right on the housing.

Clutch stands next to the VAMP Mark II with the driver’s door swung open, and you can see how the interior cab has a dark gray dashboard with sculpted gauges and a molded steering column. The yellow auxiliary lights across the roll cage have a nice translucent quality to them, and the chunky off-road tires show deep, aggressive tread patterns that give the whole vehicle a real sense of weight.

I like how the rear quarter view really shows off the VAMP Mark II’s storage density, with a helmet resting on the rear deck, a red-handled tool secured to the back rack, and what looks like a fuel canister clipped to the rear bumper frame. The interior dashboard glows with those tiny green-lit gauges through the open driver’s side, and the black vented turret housing beneath the missile rack has a chunky, industrial look with its layered horizontal slats.

Clutch’s tattoo work on his forearm really comes through here, with the skull and crossbones detail sitting just below the rolled-up cream sleeve as he mans the turret position. The VAMP Mark II’s riveted black armor plate in front of him has a satisfying industrial texture, with each rivet individually sculpted and the horizontal slat vents cut deep enough to catch shadow.

You can see how the VAMP Mark II’s side paneling is loaded with small details, from the “AID KIT” stencil and “DANGER” warning label to the scorpion-and-knife insignia decal that adds a ton of military character. Clutch sits right alongside the vehicle in his tan tactical vest and black gloves, and the scale between figure and vehicle feels just right.

A close-up reveals the desert insignia on the VAMP Mark II’s side panel, a circular emblem featuring a mountain and cactus silhouette with “M-2” stenciled just below it. The honeycomb-textured vent above it is a nice touch, and that small black cable running down to what looks like an external connector adds another layer of functional detail to the sculpt.

Here are some fun shots showing both the original VAMP and the VAMP Mark II side by side, and the difference in color palette really hits you. The olive drab and tan seats of the classic contrast sharply with the desert tan and black armor paneling of the Mark II, and Clutch looks perfectly at home standing between his two rides.

Figure Details

Outfitted with a tan tactical vest covered in stitched pouches and a thick black utility belt, Clutch carries a serious amount of gear, including a holstered sidearm and what looks like a knife sheath on his hip. I like the pin-up girl tattoo work on his right forearm, with details that’s surprisingly sharp for this scale, and the dark brown leather kneepads break up the khaki pants nicely.

A close-up reveals the sculpt work on Clutch’s bare head, and the detail is impressive. His swept-back dark hair has individually carved strands, and the full beard carries a natural, slightly uneven texture that pairs well with the subtle crow’s feet around his narrowed eyes and the small creases sculpted along his brow.

The sculpt on Clutch’s profile shows just how much care went into the hair and beard work, with each strand flowing naturally from the swept-back top into the thick sideburns and full beard below. I noticed that the ear is cleanly defined and sits at a realistic depth, and the slight furrow along his jawline where the beard meets skin feels very natural.

Here’s a closer look at Clutch’s head sculpt, and I’m really digging the detail they put into his face. The thick black beard has nice definition, and his tactical helmet sits naturally over his brow with sculpted straps and a textured cover in a warm brown tone that complements the tan vest and cream-colored sleeves.

Clutch’s shark mouth face helmet really pops from this distance, with the red interior of the open jaw contrasting against the black mask material. His revolver has a nice chunky sculpt with a textured grip, and you can see how the holster on his chest rig sits snug against the tactical vest’s front panel.

I like how they’ve handled Clutch’s helmet, with a black lower guard featuring a sharp shark mouth design in white and red that wraps around the side. The yellow-tinted visor sits recessed under the helmet brim, and you can just make out the sculpted ventilation slots cut into the mask’s cheek area.

One thing I noticed right away is just how much tattoo detail they packed onto Clutch’s upper arm. Crossed checkered racing flags sit above what looks like an engine block and piston design, all rendered in crisp gray ink against the bare skin tone, and a thick black wristwatch with a sculpted buckle wraps around his wrist just below.

A detail that stands out to me is the pin-up girl tattoo on Clutch’s left forearm, a classic military-style illustration of a woman in a polka-dot top holding a wrench, with fine linework that’s remarkably legible at this scale. The black glove cuff sits right at the base of the design, framing it perfectly against the bare skin tone.

Here’s a closer look at Clutch’s tool belt, and the level of detail packed into this area is genuinely surprising. A tan adjustable wrench is sculpted directly into the belt loop alongside what looks like a screwdriver with a blue handle and a small orange-capped flare or marker, all tucked into a weathered brown leather pouch with creased, worn-in texture.

Accessory Details

Something I appreciate here is seeing the helmet accessory on its own, where you can really take in the sculpted panel lines and recessed grooves running along the crown and temple. The horizontal vent slits cut across the back are crisp and well-defined, and the overall shape has a compact, modern tactical profile that fits Clutch’s military aesthetic perfectly.

The shark mouth design on the mask’s cheeks has a surprising amount of depth, with the white teeth tapering to sharp points and the red interior fading slightly toward the jaw hinge. I like how the rivets along the bronze helmet band are individually raised and slightly irregular in size, giving the whole piece a hand-forged, utilitarian feel that sets it apart from the sleeker helmet accessory.

Here’s a closer look at the shark mouth face mask off of Clutch’s head, and you can really appreciate the sculpt work when it’s isolated like this. The bronze-toned helmet housing has individually sculpted rivets and panel lines running along the top and sides, while the yellow visor insert sits snugly recessed beneath the brow ridge.

Here’s a closer look at the shotgun accessory, and the two-tone olive drab and black color split gives it a convincing tactical look. The crosshatch texturing on the foregrip and stock is remarkably crisp at this scale, and the receiver area has individually sculpted ejection port details and a tiny front sight post at the end of the barrel.

I think it’s cool that the pistol accessory has a sculpted star emblem pressed into the grip panel, giving it a distinct military-issue feel that ties it right back to Clutch’s overall aesthetic. The slide has deep horizontal serration cuts along the top, and the rail section on the frame’s underside has evenly spaced notches molded in for a potential tactical attachment point.
