Some exciting news was announced today from Mattel and Limited Run Games on Instagram “He-Man, Teela, Man-at-Arms and more are coming to a brand new hack ‘n slash ’n magic adventure! Battle across Eternia in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction” Yes, you read that right, a brand new He Man & The Masters of The Universe Dragon Pearl of Destruction Video Game is coming soon to your favorite video game platform. So if you have a PS5, X-Box or Nintendo Switch, get ready cause there is an awesome new MOTU video game coming for your home video gaming console! And to announce it, Mattel put out this incredible commercial which you can watch in full below! August 21, 2025 Update: She-Ra Spotted
According to dadatarms by way of Ste Taylor via Shadow Weaver’s Realm FB group, “Looks like She-Ra will be in the upcoming He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Dragon Pearl of Destruction video game! Perhaps as the 4th playable character alongside He-Man, Teela, and Man at Arms?”

The commercial opens with a very cool scene of the vintage Castle Grayskull and vintage figures surrounding it.
Then you see a person’s hands playing with Skeletor vs He-Man action figures.
He-Man looks so cool facing off against Skeletor!
Then both figures turn and look at an old CRT TV screen. You can see a blurry image of what looks like the Eternia central tower and Skeletor and Evil Lyn standing there.
Suddenly the CRT displays a title screen! Enter, “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Dragon Pearl of Destruction” video game!
Then the game appears on the screen! Then the scene pulls back and you see a set of hands with video game controllers and then a He-Man video game on the TV screen!
And so the video game screen shots begin, enjoy them below! Look you can ride on Battlecat with He-Man!
You can play as various characters like Teela! There are Shadow Beasts and fan favorite characters like Beast Man and Evil Lyn! Also Skeleton Warriors!
Man At Arms joins the fight as well!
