Any time boots hit the ground and real world toy hunting intel comes back, my ears perk up, and that is exactly what happened here thanks to an awesome assist from collector union_square_108, who did some recon for us at his local Target in Cleveland. If that handle sounds familiar, you might already know him in hip hop circles as Dirty Money from Mo Thugs, which just makes this crossover of worlds even cooler in my book. While cruising the aisles, he spotted some legitimately exciting items hitting shelves right now, including the long awaited He-Man MOTU Origins Sketch Book Series figure inspired by original concept art from Mark Taylor, a release that many of us have been watching closely ever since it was first teased. On top of that, the latest Transformers crossover figures are officially showing up in stores, with Optimus Prime Armor He-Man and Starscream Armor Scareglow making their way onto pegs although he had to ask an associate to grab them them from the back, signaling that this mashup line is no longer something you only need to preorder. Seeing these in the wild always hits differently, and it is a solid reminder that Target continues to be a key stop for MOTU and crossover hunters alike. I love when community members share this kind of on the ground info because it helps everyone plan their next hunt, so if you are heading out shopping soon, keep your eyes open, check those endcaps, and maybe dig a little deeper than usual because these are clearly starting to roll out now.
