Mattel DC Collector Figure Line NYCC 2026 Booth Info Update

Mattel has finally put a date on its new Mattel DC Collector line, confirming during its NYCC 2026reveal and that the worldwide launch is set for January 1, 2027. That is exciting news, even if the announcement itself stops right there. Mattel has not identified the first item, shown any figures, named any characters, or revealed the accessories and packaging we can expect. We do not even have a first release to start picking apart yet. Still, an exact global launch date makes the line much more real than a vague promise of something coming later, and January 1 means Mattel plans to get 2027 started immediately. We previously covered Mattel’s announcement at SDCC 2026 and this NYCC update is much smaller by comparison, but I’m glad to have a firm date on the calendar. Now comes the part that really matters: finding out what Mattel DC Collector actually is and which item Mattel has chosen to introduce it.

Mattel will use New York Comic Con 2026 for the first reveal from its upcoming Mattel DC Collector line. The reveal is scheduled for Thursday, October 8 at 12:00 p.m. ET at the DC Booth (#4365) at NYCC.

Mattel officially confirmed that its new DC Collector line will launch on January 1, 2027, following the end of McFarlane Toys’ tenure with the license.

Mattel also revealed that fans will get their very first preview of the new collector line during New York Comic Con 2026.

The complete lineup scheduled to be unveiled on January 1, 2027 through Mattel Creations.
