Where to buy

Starting with The Flash, this Jay Garrick version of Flash comes from the Flash Comics #1, published in 1940. Jay Garrick was the very first DC character to take on the mantle of The Flash and is considered one of the oldest and most iconic superheroes in the DC Universe. Thus a very welcome addition to the Super Powers line! Looking at his in hand photos, you can see that he has great paint application for his face and an awesome lighting bolt painted on his chest. It looks so crisp and sharp, they really did a great job. Also you can see the comparison to the Wave 1 Flash, to this Jay Garrick version.

Next up, let’s take a look at my fav of the wave, Lobo, the anti-hero character known for his crude humor, brutal violence, and love of killing. We get to see a first hand photo of this chonky dude in his big oversized blister on card, as it covers all of the Super Powers logo! Standing next to the biggest figure in the vintage Super Powers wave Darkseid; you can see just how large and chonky Lobo really is! I love his soft goods vest too!

Here we can se how cool Lobo looks thanks to Kenneth Cirac on Facebook. I love that big chonky belt buckle with the skull head! Lobo really has his comic book look!

Finally we can see Robin and The Atom in package and the look spectacular. This vesion of Robin is the closest to the original vintage Super Power Robin.

This collection is looking amazing all together! The colors look amazing and so vibrant!

The Atom- Ray Palmer
Ray Palmer, also known as the Atom, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Gil Kane, the character first appeared in Showcase #34 in 1961. Ray Palmer is a physicist and professor who discovers a fragment of a white dwarf star which he uses to create a size-changing belt that allows him to shrink down to subatomic size, as well as grow to giant size. As the Atom, he uses his size-changing abilities to fight crime and villains, using his scientific expertise to outsmart his enemies.
The Atom has been a member of various superhero teams, including the Justice League of America and the Justice Society of America. He has a deep moral code and a passion for science, which drives him to use his powers for the greater good. Over the years, the Atom has undergone various changes and updates in his characterization and powers, but he remains a popular and enduring character in the DC Universe.
The Flash Jay Garrick
Jay Garrick is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He first appeared in Flash Comics #1, published in 1940. Jay Garrick was the first character to take on the mantle of The Flash and is considered one of the oldest and most iconic superheroes in the DC Universe. Jay Garrick gained his super-speed powers after inhaling hard water vapors during a lab accident. With his newfound abilities, he donned a helmet with wings and became known as The Flash. He fought crime and protected the city of Keystone City, using his speed to defeat villains and save innocent lives. Over the years, Jay Garrick has been a key member of various superhero teams, including the Justice Society of America and the All-Star Squadron.
He has also had several iconic storylines and crossovers with other DC heroes, such as Barry Allen and Wally West, who have also taken on the mantle of The Flash. Jay Garrick is known for his kindness, bravery, and sense of justice, making him a beloved character among fans. Despite his age and long history as a hero, he continues to inspire and protect others with his super-speed powers.
Lobo
DC Comics’ Lobo is an anti-hero character known for his crude humor, brutal violence, and love of killing. He first appeared in the 1980s as a villain but later evolved into a more complex character with his own moral code. Lobo is a Czarnian, a race of people known for being peaceful and nonviolent, but he was banished from his home planet for being too violent and destructive. He is often depicted as a bounty hunter who takes on contracts to hunt down and kill targets for money. Lobo is incredibly strong, durable, and regenerative, making him nearly indestructible. He is also a skilled combatant and can heal from almost any injury. Despite his brutal nature, Lobo has shown a sense of loyalty and honor to those he considers his allies or friends.
In addition to his physical abilities, Lobo is also known for his love of motorcycles, heavy metal music, cigars, and guns. He often engages in over-the-top, bloody battles with other DC Comics characters, including Superman and the Justice League. Lobo has appeared in various comic book series and has become a fan-favorite character due to his unique personality and penchant for chaos. You can see that this Lobo figure is based on the larger chonky buck.
Robin- Jason Todd
Robin, also known as Jason Todd, is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe. He first appeared in Batman #357 in March 1983 as the second Robin after Dick Grayson. Jason Todd was originally portrayed as a young, fiery, and impulsive character, known for his street-smart and tough attitude. He was eventually killed by the Joker in the infamous “A Death in the Family” storyline. However, Jason Todd was later resurrected in the “Under the Hood” storyline, where he returned as the anti-hero Red Hood. As Red Hood, Jason Todd sought vengeance against Batman and became a violent vigilante who was willing to use lethal force to achieve his goals.
Jason Todd has since become a complex and controversial character in the DC Universe, grappling with his past as Robin, his resurrection, and his conflicting feelings towards Batman. He has been a member of various superhero teams, including the Outlaws and the Teen Titans. Overall, Jason Todd/Roibn is a deeply flawed and morally ambiguous character who continues to struggle with his identity and place in the superhero world.
Batman (Unmasked Chase)
This next figure is another Batman figure. This time we get an unmasked version and he is said to be a “chase” figure. This is the traditional classic blue and grey Batman. From the blurry image, it’s hard to see how they treated the head sculpt of Bruce Wayne.

Superman- Return of Superman (chase)
This next figure is another Superman figure from the Return of Superman version and he is also said to be a “chase” figure. Superman will be colored in the black regeneration suit from The Return of Superman. We only have the blurry reveal image from the NYCC panel, but you can see an image from Return of Superman below.
