McFarlane Toys is back with a second wave of MLB SportsPicks 6-inch action figures, and I have to admit, I’m particularly excited about this release. After taking a 37-year hiatus from baseball, I rediscovered my love for the sport toward the end of 2025 and have been following it ever since. I’ve really enjoyed getting back into baseball, watching the season unfold, and now following the playoffs. As an action figure collector, there’s something especially fun about being able to bring those two interests together. Having figures of today’s MLB stars on my shelves feels like a great way to celebrate a hobby I’ve finally returned to after nearly four decades. Wave 2 features Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals, Fernando Tatis Jr. of the San Diego Padres, George Springer of the Toronto Blue Jays, Juan Soto of the New York Mets, and Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves. Each figure features an articulated 6-inch body, team-specific uniform, baseball bat, and display base, with preorders now available at select retailers.
