It was just a few months ago that the new McFarlane Superman The Movie 1978 Collector Edition went up for preorder, well we finally got him and have some incredible in hand images by yours truly, Toy Sorceress, for your viewing pleasure! McFarlane really knocked it out of the park with my absolute favorite version of Superman, yes it’s the Christopher Reeve from the 1978 Superman the Movie for the 7″ Multiverse figure Collector Edition! So let’s check out this amazing new action figure and enjoy these McFarlane Superman The Movie 1978 Collector Edition In Hand Images!

He comes packaged in the typical McFarlane DC Multiverse box, but has an incredible photo of Christopher Reeve as Superman ’78 on the back! This is one to keep and cut out! You can see he comes with 4 additional sets of alternate hands and an alternate head. You also get a flight stand and collector card.

I just love the possibility of this figure and how well he photographs!

Here we can see Superman from both sides.

Superman comes with a left hand that he is holding a piece of kryptonite! So he looks great with this set piece of the Fortress of Solitude that I have from one One Twelve Collective Superman.

He looks great in a flying pose with the included flight stand! Since he comes with a wired cape, you can make it look like it’s flapping in the wind!

Close ups of the two alternate heads. This is a great sculpt of Christopher Reeve as Superman for a retail release figure. The second head is the angry head with a little bit of 5 o clock shadow.
