MEGA Masters of the Universe Eternia Battleground Building Set

Special thanks to our Toy Habits crew member Brennan for the heads up that the new MEGA Masters of the Universe Eternia Battleground Building Set listing has hit Mattel Creations! As we covered in our 2023 Masters of the Universe MEGA MOTU Leaks article last week, an Eternia building set had been rumored to be coming in the MEGA Construct line, and here it is! This new building set is oozing nostalgia all over the place with it’s incredible packaging and is shown to come with the central Tower of Eternia and the Attak Trak vehicle! Launches on Mattel Creations on May 8th, 2023, 9am PST, 12pm EST.
This new Mega Construx set looks incredible! It includes the Central Tower of Eternia complete with the lion’s head and entrance trap claws. The Tower also includes it’s signature flags flying at the top of the tower, and the gargoyes at the entrance with the bridge across the moat. There is a computer console that doubles as a weapons rack and its also includes the Attak Trak vehicle with rolling tank tread wheels, just like the vintage toy! You also get a Battle Armor He-Man, Ninjor, Buzz-Off and Webstor mini figures!
The packaging looks incredible as it has a very vintage inspired look to it! You can see Central Tower with all the mini figs and the Attak Trak vehicle in a cool scene, with Viper Tower and Grayskull Tower in the background. Could this mean we might get the other two towers in separate sets? Central Tower does come with arms for a monorail track, but of course there are none included. So could Mattel’s strategy be to release this in separate sets? Only time will tell, but for now, this first set is incredible!

Both are faithfully-detailed, and the tower includes its iconic lion’s head entrance with trap claws, control center and heroic and evil warrior flags.
