Sometimes the best intel doesn’t come from official reveals or convention panels but from retail listings that go live just a little ahead of schedule, and that’s exactly what happened here as Walmart has given us our first concrete look at the official details for Masters of the Universe Chronicles Wave 1 of the 2027 figure assortment, filling in some key blanks that collectors have been piecing together since we first got a glimpse of the Chronicles roadmap at SDCC 2026. Huge thanks to Walmart for inadvertently pulling back the curtain on this one, because the listing confirms the three figures in the wave as Clawful, Mekaneck, and what we now officially know is Flight Armor He-Man. While we don’t have official images to feast our eyes on just yet, the real gold here is in the accessory details that came through with the listings, giving us a much clearer picture of what Mattel is packing in with each figure and how these releases are shaping up compared to what we’ve seen so far from the Chronicles line. Armored He-Man from MOTU Chronicles wears a heavily sculpted chest piece with a visor helmet that has a deep red faceplate and small horn details at the crown. Clawful is an absolute beast of a sculpt, with a massive red crab-like claw arm covered in a bumpy, crater-pocked texture and sharp spikes running along his shoulders and forearms. His lower half features riveted metallic armor plates over the thighs, a tattered loincloth, and a blue waist sash, while his head sculpt has a menacing open jaw full of white fangs and a blue star marking on the forehead.

The armor on Clawful has the same bumpy, crater-pocked texture as his claw arm, tapering to a pointed tip with a heavy, reptilian weight to it. His leg armor has a copper-toned finish with sculpted rivets and small teal accent panels at the knee joints, and those clawed red feet are genuinely gnarly.

Mekaneck

This Chronicles Mekaneck action figure celebrates the Masters of the Universe hero at 6.5-inch scale, with a content-accurate design from the 2026 live-action movie. This figure has collector-level details and accurate proportions, based on the movie character played by James Wilkinson. It delivers deluxe posability with 30 points of articulation. This Heroic Human Periscope comes with an extra-long bendable neck accessory for re-creating Mekaneck’s battle moves that were prominently featured in the movie. Mekaneck’s signature extending neck is the centerpiece here, with a long segmented column of sculpted chevron-patterned segments rising from a red chest collar up to his helmeted head. The red helmet features angular green-tinted goggles, and his body suit is a deep blue with metallic blue armor plating on the shoulders and circular joint details at the biceps.
