Fresh in from the community, bonecosnaofalam came through with some great in-hand shots of the MOTU Core 4-Pack Amazon Exclusive, and I couldn’t wait to get these in front of you all. This boxed set brings together He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms, and Goat Man in one package, and seeing them in-hand ahead of their release date is awesome. The photos give us a solid look at the packaging presentation, which leans into that classic Masters of the Universe aesthetic collectors love, along with close-ups of each figure’s sculpt, paint apps, and included accessories. From what I can see in these images, the colors pop nicely and the detail work on faces and armor holds up well under real-world lighting, which is always the true test once a figure leaves the promo shot stage. For anyone building out a MOTU Core shelf or just looking for a clean entry point into the line, a four-pack like this offering the core cast together is a smart pickup. If you’re interested in snagging one for yourself, you can find the MOTU Core 4-Pack over on Amazon. Scroll down and check out all the in-hand photos below to see exactly what this set is bringing to the table.
Packaging
The shipper box for the MOTU Core 4 Pack is a plain brown mailer, and the figures posed around it make for a great group shot. He-Man and Man-At-Arms are perched on top with weapons raised, while Skeletor and Goat Man flank the sides below.

A standard brown corrugated shipper box with the Masters of the Universe logo printed in blue on the upper corner. The box is labeled as a figure 4-pack and marked as a ships-in-own-container (SIOC) mailer, so collectors ordering from Amazon should receive this without any additional outer packaging.

The packaging interior splits the artwork into two gorgeous panels, with He-Man and Man-At-Arms facing off against Skeletor and a snarling Goat Man on the opposing side. Below, all four figures sit in the tray: Man-At-Arms in his gold armor, He-Man with his classic cross-harness and Power Sword, Skeletor in purple and teal, and the exclusive Goat Man in bold red and black, who is only available in this set.

The outer brown shipper box keeps things simple with a printed mountain silhouette and the Masters of the Universe title, no window or full-color art to speak of. It’s a little lackluster compared to what’s inside, but honestly, this is probably how they’re keeping costs down on a four-pack like this, and what matters is the figures themselves.

The card artwork gets a closer look here, and the painted detail on He-Man’s chest armor is impressive, with layered gold tones and ornamental rivets that feel faithful to the live-action movie designs. Man-At-Arms grins behind him in his signature helmet and yellow-gold tech armor, the two rendered in a warm, fiery palette that gives the whole panel a classic movie poster feel.

Goat Man on the inner box artwork gets its close-up here, and Skeletor’s skull face is rendered with a glowing red eye and deeply weathered bone texture beneath his purple hood. Goat Man looms behind him with curled ram horns and a menacing scowl, his red skin and dark features matching the sinister purple and crimson color palette that ties the whole panel together.

Man-At-Arms looks great here, and he carries more of a classic look than his MOTU Chronicles counterpart, with that copper-gold chest armor and green bodysuit pulling straight from the traditional color scheme. He comes packed with a solid accessory spread including a gold mace and a small sidearm.

Man-At-Arms sports a great color combination of orange armor plating over a dark teal bodysuit, with gold shin guards and that metallic gold mace accessory, all pulling directly from the vintage figure’s palette in a way that really lands. Love that his blaster plugs right into the thigh holster, a smart little design touch that keeps the accessory stored without cluttering the figure.

He-Man’s chest harness has a nice metallic sheen on the silver armor plating, with the red iron cross popping cleanly against it, and the brown leather-toned loincloth and bracers have sculpted rivets and stitching throughout.

He-Man holds the Power Sword high, and up close like this, that head sculpt is really solid. His silver chest armor has a bold red cross emblem at the center, and the brown leather-textured loincloth and wrist guards have nice rivet detailing throughout.

Skeletor also looks awesome here, with that deep purple hood and cape draping over his teal skin and heavily textured armor, the ornamental chest piece carrying a red gem centerpiece. We can also see Goat Man’s massive battle axe with a jagged, angular blade is packed in beside him, and the Havoc Staff as well.

Skeletor looks great with his Havoc Staff, and the ram skull topper with its curling horns and small green gem has a clean, bone-white finish that contrasts nicely against the metallic bronze shaft. His soft goods cape drapes with real weight, its tattered hem adding texture to the deep purple that carries through the hood, belt, and layered tasset skirt.

Goat Man is the star of this set, and he is so freaking cool, from that war-painted white face with bared fangs and curling ram horns down to those sculpted hoofed feet with tan-colored hooves peeking out beneath heavy dark armor greaves. The oversized double-headed battle axe packed beside him has serious heft to it, and the leather-toned belt pouch and riveted cross-strap harness add a lot of texture to that vibrant red skin.

Goat Man is the shining star of this 4-pack, and he came out really well. His bright red skin pops against the dark leather harness and studded armor skirt, and that massive double-bladed battle axe with its textured blade is an impressive piece, nearly as tall as the figure itself.
