Dreadnok Chameleon & Professor Rottclaw GI Joe Classified Series Preorders

I always get a kick out of watching how a rumor starts to build momentum in the community and then suddenly snaps into focus, and that is exactly what just happened with the upcoming G.I. Joe Classified Series drops. Huge thanks again to Toy Hunters Hollow for initially flagging the report from Sharp’s Sneaky Links, and now things have moved from speculation to confirmation as BMACatron has shared new images in his Instagram Reel confirming that the Dreadnok Chameleon with Swamp Skier and Professor Rottclaw with his Cobra Deinonychus are officially going up for preorder on March 17 at 10am PT / 1pm ET. The announcement lines up perfectly with the Hasbro slots listed on Entertainment Earth’s Drop Zone calendar, which is exactly the kind of breadcrumb trail that collectors love to follow. And honestly, seeing these images again brought me right back to Toy Fair 2026 where we had the chance to see both of these pieces live and in person. The Dreadnok Chameleon Swamp Skier set features Zanya riding the olive green swamp vehicle that feels like a natural evolution of the vintage concept, complete with the rugged Dreadnok styling and weapons mounted on the front of the craft, while Professor Rottclaw brings one of Cobra’s more twisted scientific minds into the Classified line alongside a genetically engineered Deinonychus that looks like it walked straight out of one of Cobra’s off-the-books experiments. According to the preorder announcement imagery, these releases will be widely available at the usual online retailers including Amazon, Big Bad Toy Store, Entertainment Earth, and Hasbro Pulse, so if you have been waiting to add these to your Classified shelf, tomorrow morning is shaping up to be the moment to strike.

Zanya & Dreadnok Chameleon

A full product spread shows Zanya, the swamp skier, and all accessories together with the boxed packaging. Zanya is outfitted with a black leather jacket over a cropped graphic tee featuring a skull print, paired with olive cargo pants that have padded knee guards and dark brown shin wraps leading down to silver-toed boots. She holds a black pump-action shotgun with a textured grip and a bandage wrap around one wrist adding a scrappy, lived-in feel. I like the way her bright green braided hair contrasts against the dark tones of her outfit, and the spiked choker and goggles pushed up on her forehead really sell the Dreadnok punk aesthetic.

Zanya lifts up the compartment as it flips open, revealing a dark weapon stowed inside with a sculpted rocket tip and ribbed detailing along the barrel. The vehicle itself has a weathered silver undercarriage with piping and mechanical details molded along the side.

Zanya sits perched on the Chameleon’s seat, her legs straddling the vehicle’s gray engine block with its clustered cylinders and ribbed exhaust tubing running underneath. The Chameleon’s rear features a pair of yellow-green stabilizer fins angled upward behind her, while the front end sports twin black-barreled guns mounted beneath the open hood panel.

This shot shows off the Chameleon’s ski design, a multi-legged crawling mechanism with articulated front runners splayed across the terrain. A long rifle is secured vertically against the vehicle’s left side, its barrel extending well above the seat line. A detail that stands out to me is the small tattoo printed on her exposed midriff, sitting just above the belt line.

Zanya rides the Chameleon with a scoped pistol raised, her olive helmet with flip-up red goggles fitting snugly over her braided hair. The vehicle’s front runners are angled low, and a set of handlebar-style grips extend from the upper chassis near the rear stabilizers, giving the rider additional control points. One thing I noticed right away is the homage to the vintage Chameleon with the tampo’d decal on the side panel, a nice touch that ties the vehicle to the Dreadnok aesthetic.

Zanya rides the Chameleon head-on, gripping the twin handlebar controls with both hands as the vehicle’s front end reveals a stacked arrangement of dark cylinders and coiled suspension springs just behind the ski-like runners. The Chameleon’s yellowish-green front venting panel sits between her knees, and a black rifle is slung diagonally across the vehicle’s body just ahead of her torso.

Professor Rottclaw & Deinonychus

The front three-quarter view highlights Rottclaw’s chest armor with Cobra insignia and the textured detailing on his gauntlets and belt. The Deinonychus appears with open jaws, visible red throat, black claws, and the alternate head for army building separately among the included accessories.

Professor Rottclaw is posed alongside a Deinonychus, and the raptor’s sculpt is impressive, with textured scales across the body, sharp black claws, and an open jaw showing off detailed teeth and a pink interior mouth. I like the way the feathered ridge along the Deinonychus’s neck and back transitions into the smoother scaled skin on its legs and tail. Rottclaw carries a coiled whip and wears dark tactical armor loaded with pouches and a red shotgun shell texture on his shoulder armor.

The Deinonychus wears a silver skull-shaped head piece fitted over its snout, complete with horn-like crests and hollow eye sockets that sit over the creature’s own eyes. I think it’s cool that the helmet has its own set of sculpted teeth along the jawline, layering over the raptor’s open mouth underneath. Rottclaw stands behind, pointing forward with one hand while gripping the whip in the other, his long curling tail trailing off to the side.

Rottclaw holds his head armor, as appearing to be offering something to the Deinonychus, whose jaws are open wide with a turquoise-painted marking across the top of its head.

From the rear, you can see the dark blues and tans as Rottclaw’s leg armor features riveted bone-like plates hanging from his belt, with a crosshatch texture running down his wrapped shin guards. A pair of Deinonychus flank him on either side, their white face paint and open jaws giving them a feral look. Something I appreciate here is how the red panels on his shoulder pads pop against the otherwise muted back plate.

This is the money shot where you can see how this figure can army build! I’m really digging the amount of sculpted detail packed into Rottclaw’s black gloves, which feature segmented finger armor and a slightly different texture from the rest of his sleeves along with the long claw.

The Deinonychus is posed with all four limbs extended and claws spread wide, showing off the contrast between the glossy black talons and the tan undersides of its feet and hands. The sculpt on the tail shows a segmented ridge pattern along the underside that differs from the smoother scaled texture on top. I noticed that the pinkish-red coloring on the throat and chest runs further down than it appears from other angles, blending into the darker torso.

The sculpt on the Deinonychus’s hindquarters shows a transition from raised, pebbly scales along the spine to wider, flatter plating across the hip and thigh area, with a subtle Cobra sigil stamped into the skin. It’s nice to see a second raptor lurking just behind, its gray and white coloring and open jaws providing a sense of how the two figures look together when displayed in a pack-style setup.

Armed with a thin sword, Dawn Moreno stands among multiple armored Deinonychus, each wearing those silver skull helmets with their horn-like crests. She looks like she is in trouble!

Here is a view of the arlternate heads, leaning into the army building aspect as they are posed grappling with a Deinonychus, one of them bracing against the raptor’s jaws while the other swings a coiled whip overhead. They wear spiked helmets with red face coverings and layered chest rigs over segmented arm armor, with a Cobra-style insignia on the belt area of the foreground figure. I like seeing the raptor’s feathered neck bristling up as its mouth clamps down, the paint on its gums and inner cheeks giving that bite a convincing look.
