New Eternia Masterverse Wave 19 SDCC 2025 Booth Images
New Eternia Masterverse Wave 19 made a menacing debut at the Masters of the Universe booth during San Diego Comic Con 2025, featuring the villainous trio of Mantenna, Mosquitor, and Anti-Eternia He-Man. We first caught wind of this wave back in April 2025, when early information hinted that these evil characters were heading to the Masterverse line. Fast forward to SDCC, and it was a thrill to finally see them fully realized in plastic. With each wave, the New Eternia subline continues to expand the MOTU mythos in bold new directions—and Wave 19 is no exception. Fans who’ve been following early intel will be thrilled to finally see Mantenna, Mosquitor, and Anti-Eternia He-Man revealed in all their plastic glory.

Mosqiotor
New Eternia Mosquitor makes a dramatic debut in the Masterverse line with a striking redesign that elevates the character’s insectoid menace. The figure retains his signature red snout and silver chest armor but takes things further with dark armored limbs, spiked shoulder pads, and a blood extractor gun featuring translucent purple details. One of the most exciting additions is a pair of semi-translucent, purple insect wings—a design element many fans speculated would finally be realized in this line. The wings add an extra layer of menace and mobility to the character’s silhouette, bringing new depth to the Evil Horde’s parasitic enforcer. Preview night, Mosquitor was not featured with his blood chest plate.

This close-up of the New Eternia Mosquitor figure highlights the intricately sculpted chest plate, which features a glossy, translucent red blood effect framed by a jagged silver outline. The blood design appears to drip and swirl beneath the surface, paying homage to the vintage action feature while reimagining it with modern aesthetics. The figure also sports large chrome bug-eyes, a crimson mask detail, and spiked red shoulder armor, but it’s the blood chest plate that steals the spotlight, adding a visceral layer to this vampiric villain’s menacing design.

This side view of the New Eternia Mosquitor figure reveals more of the sculpted details and asymmetry in the armor design, particularly the red spiked gauntlet on his right arm that contrasts with the sleeker black armor on the left. The translucent purple sword curves slightly outward, catching the light with a glossy finish. From this angle, the metallic tubing connecting his elongated snout to his back is clearly visible, emphasizing the techno-organic fusion of his design. You also get a better look at the clawed feet, which are armored and angular, grounding the figure in a more aggressive stance.

Mantenna
Mantenna creeps into the New Eternia Masterverse line with a grotesquely detailed update that stays true to his freakish roots while introducing new levels of realism. His four-legged sculpt is packed with insectoid textures and sharp armor detailing, highlighted by a bold red and blue color scheme that pops against his menacing snarl. What truly sets this version apart are the swappable eyeballs—each sculpted with eerie precision and a glossy, organic finish that makes them look unsettlingly lifelike. Combined with his Horde-branded chest armor and blast effect accessory, Mantenna looks ready to bug out and terrorize Eternia with unsettling flair.

This close-up of the New Eternia Masterverse Mantenna figure highlights the character’s most iconic feature—his bulging, oversized eyeballs. The eyes are cast in translucent orange plastic with vivid red and yellow iris detailing, giving them an unsettlingly lifelike appearance that evokes the vintage fright factor. Protruding from deep-set sockets, the eyes are mounted on long, veiny blue stalks. Combined with his open-jawed expression and angular red faceplate, this sculpt captures the grotesque charm of Mantenna in a hyper-detailed modern update.

This side angle of Mantenna highlights the elongated, insect-like legs and clawed feet, which give the figure a strong sense of stability and creature-like posture. The yellow-orange orbs extending from the eye stalks gleam under the display lighting, emphasizing their translucent material and exaggerated shape. His extended blaster accessory, featuring a spiraling red energy effect and matching orb at the tip, reinforces the exaggerated visual language of the character. The raised shoulder armor and flared head fins further accentuate his alien silhouette, lending him a distinctly menacing, otherworldly presence.

Anti-Eternia He-Man
Anti-Eternia He-Man storms into the New Eternia Masterverse line with a menacing design that pushes the dark multiverse concept to new depths. His jet-black skin and blood-red harness give off an ominous aura, but it’s the accessories that truly steal the show—most notably his bone-white Hellskull helmet, which adds a haunting contrast to the figure’s shadowy palette. Paired with a matching crimson sword and a battle-worn shield featuring a screaming face motif, this figure captures the terrifying essence of an evil He-Man from a cursed dimension. A swappable red hairpiece completes the look, allowing for multiple display options that emphasize the figure’s corrupted legacy.

These close-up shots of the Anti-Eternia He-Man figure reveal a sinister and highly detailed design that draws clear inspiration from the Castle Hellskull concept art. The shield features an eerie, sculpted face with flowing tendrils and skeletal winged accents, bringing a haunting presence that evokes the dark magic of Anti-Eternia. The helmet mirrors this motif with a fang-lined jaw and a pale, expressionless visage atop the head, reinforcing the figure’s dark and cursed aesthetic. Additional gothic flourishes, like the crimson and silver cross chest harness and ornate belt with sculpted skulls, echo the foreboding elements seen in the original concept art, making this one of the most visually intense interpretations of He-Man to date.
