The 2nd figure to debut for Power-Con 2022 comes the Okeaetos Mythic Legions All Stars 5+ reveal. Stay tuned for preorder information!
This figure is of a new race called Arakkighast and he has a very segmented look of an arachnid. He comes with two different heads that are repainted from the Vampire Knight with extra eyes were painted on to look like an arachnid. The arms and legs are also similar to the Skeleton Soldier from the Advent of Decay line.
- Faction: The Congregation of Necronominus
- Race: Arakkighast
- Role: Assassin
Devious and deadly, the enigmatic Arakkighast killer known as Okeaetos is a frightful tangle of bony limbs and shadowy menace. A terrifying mixture of flesh and bone, the Arakkighast are a race not often encountered in the realm of Mythoss. Keeping mostly to unlit corners and hidden recesses, the assassin Okeaetos takes great joy in hunting down and eliminating his prey. A devout worshipper of his faction’s dark God, Okeaetos hopes that his dark deeds will be rewarded upon Necronominus’ return.
We are calling Okeaetos a MOTU tribute figure as the Four Horsemen have paid homage to MOTU characters in the past. This figure is a nod to Webstor from the Masters of the Universe line with its arachnid appearance, coloring, and limb design. There are strong ties with the string that connects to the into the handle and the mace head and the string has the vintage type feel to it as Webstor came with a string attached to his hook. Like with past Power-Con debuts, the used really bright colors that we don’t see outside of Power-Con but the figure fits in nicely with the line.
Okeaetos has a nod to Webstor with the chest armor painted in the same colors as the hourglass symbol on the MOTU Classics figure.
Okeaetos uses a 2.0 body and some part reuse and sharing from the Mythic Legions Illythia deluxe figure. More specifically, they share the same back piece. He also is sporting her lower arms with some arm armor and bracers added to them.
The next MOTU tribute figure, Zenithon from the Mythic Legions Allstars+ line had its big reveal on July 11, 2022 so be sure to check that out too!
