Well, this is an interesting development. When the MOTU Chronicles Orko went up as a Made to Order exclusive on Mattel Creations, most of us figured that was the only way to get him, and with a September 2027 ship date, it was going to be a long wait. But Big Bad Toy Store has now listed what appears to be the exact same figure for preorder, and not only that, it’s showing a June 2027 ship date, a full three months earlier than Mattel’s own listing. I definitely did not see that coming. The Masters of the Universe (2026) Chronicles Orko Action Figure is priced at $25.99 and stands 3.75 inches tall with 11 points of articulation, featuring those signature glowing eyes that can randomize to simulate a blink effect, a magic wand, and a special stand designed to let him float above your shelf. And yeah, seeing this thing actually floating is just plain fun. Based on Orko’s modern movie look from the 2026 Masters of the Universe film, this Chronicles release packs a lot of personality into a small package. Whether this signals that other Mattel Creations exclusives could eventually show up through additional retailers or if Orko is a one-off situation remains to be seen, but for collectors who prefer ordering through BBTS or simply want to shave a few months off the wait, you can place your order below!

Masters of the Universe Chronicles Orko Action Figure
Orko’s deep crimson robe has a rich metallic sheen, with sculpted folds running from the oversized hood down to the hem. A twisted, tapered stand gives him that signature floating look, and the magic effect piece with its jagged starburst shape is a nice touch.

Orko’s full accessory spread is laid out here: two pairs of interchangeable hands, two magic effects, a wand, and the twisted floating stand. The extra set of hands has a more relaxed, open-fingered sculpt compared to the splayed pair already on the figure.

Those yellow eyes are the standout detail up close, set deep under the hood against a black face with real contrast. The pink scarf wraps snugly around where the jaw would be, and the pale blue hands with their splayed, spindly fingers add a lot of character to the sculpt.

The key-shaped wand has a metallic finish with a circular head featuring a hexagonal cutout and raised dot detailing along the ring. Orko’s sculpted robe folds are especially sharp at the hood’s peak, tapering to a fine point.

The oval emblem sculpted into the chest of the robe is a clean, recessed detail that breaks up the crimson surface nicely. Below the hem, the twisted stand has a textured, organic sculpt with ridged segments and pointed tips that splay out at the base.

Orko is shown here alongside He-Man for scale, and the size difference between the two really sells the proportions. The robe, stand, and overall sculpt hold up well next to the larger figure.
