We don’t want to spoil the story for you, but if you want to read on, enjoy!

Last pages of the mini comic is below.

Swift Wind:
Swift Wind or “Swifty” as She-Ra affectionately referred to him, was the other big star of the She-Ra Princess of Power Filmation cartoon! My favorite character as a kid and now, Swifty was always there to assist She-Ra in fighting the Evil Horde and came to the rescue whenever she needed him. I loved the sound of his voice too; it just fit him so well! The animators chose to color Swifty in a beautiful color scheme, by coloring him as a white horse, his multicolored wings and pink and blue mask really stood out and gave him that signature look that everyone knows and loves!

The Mattel Princess of Power version of Swift Wind, released in 1985, also did not resemble the Swift Wind from Filmation, but rather was a shimmery pink colored horse with gold, white and pink wings, a gold mask and saddle with pink rooted hair. Just like Arrow, allowing kids to comb and style Swift Wind’s hair, which was a pivotal part of the play pattern for the Princess of Power toy line.

Shown below is the vintage Mattel Princess of Power Swift Wind and She-Ra, from the personal collection of the none other than the Toy Sorceress! Love my horsie!!! Swifty and She-Ra sit proudly on the shelf over my desk where I am currently authoring this article!

Swiftwind was also released for the MOTU Classic line as seen below. This version closely resembled the Filmation version of Swift Wind and we hope we can get one for the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection!

Appearing on the 2020 Power Con exclusive She-Ra card art, She-Ra can be seen riding her trusted companion Swift Wind in an amazing piece of artwork by the great Axel Gimenez in his shimmering pink Mattel version! Again, to me this is a tease that we might someday get a Pop version of Swift Wind.

She-Ra and Shift Wind are also illustrated on the back of the card back with the rest of the Rebellion in front of the Crystal Castle.

Bow
Bow is renowned as the best archer in all of Etheria. Equipped with an array of trick arrows, he uses his skills of illusion and his fierce patriotism for Etheria to fight the Evil Horde. Bow is also Princess Adora’s right hand man and best friend. You will notice on the vintage PoP version, that Bow was missing his signature mustache, later corrected by including 2 different heads in the MOTU Classics version.

The vintage action figure of Bow stands at approximately 5.5 inches tall and is made of plastic. He is dressed in bright and colorful attire, featuring a red jacket with gold accents, matching pants, and white boots. Bow’s most recognizable feature is his distinctive helmet, which has heart-shaped cutouts on either side of his face.
The action figure comes with various accessories, including a crossbow, three arrows, a quiver, and a sword. The crossbow can be placed in Bow’s hand, and the arrows can be stored in the quiver on his back. The sword can be attached to his waist for easy access during battles.
Below you can see Bow and Arrow from the vintage 1980’s Mattel Toy line.

We also have the second time that Bow was made into an action figure as part of the MOTU Classics line in 2011.

Below we have an incredible custom MOTU Origins Bow Action figure that was done by Hunter Knight Customs, so we can get an idea of what a Filmation style Cartoon Collection Bow might look like!
Loo-kee
Let’s start out with these cute little guys that just made the Princess of Power cartoon extra special! Loo-kee was the comic relief and a little buddy every Heroic warrior needed. It was always fun find Loo-kee! during each episode of the Filmation She-Ra Princess of Power cartoon, is let’s
Loo-Kee, son of Pa-Pee, was a member of the Kon-Seals, a race of creatures that used their unique hiding abilities in order to aid the forces of good. Not only was Loo-Kee an expert when it came to hiding, he also had the ability to teleport short distances.
These figures have already been teased on previous Origins releases card backs, so let’s take a look where we’ve seen them. We first saw Loo-Kee (or did we ?) in the card art for the standard release of She-Ra and if you didn’t see him the fist time, he was right in front of your face so to speak as he was hiding in the trees.

The art for the Power Con 2020 exclusive She-Ra provided some great teases for some PoP characters, including Bow, Glimmer, Kowl, and Loo-Kee, who was much easier to find.

Glimmer
Glimmer is the Princess of Bright Moon, the very beautiful daughter of Queen Angella and King Micah. She was the original leader of the Great Rebellion of Etheria until Adora took over and helped to establish much of its support structure. One of the main characters when you think of the Great Rebellion, Glimmer has been made into action figure twice thus far, once for the vintage Princess of Power line of the 1980’s and next in the MOTU Classics line in the mid 2000’s. Let’s take a closer look below.

Filmation cartoon
In an effort to bring girls into the action figure market, Mattel came up with the action doll in the Princess of Power line of the 1980’s. The vintage Glimmer Action Doll was released in 1984 by Mattel and came with a shimmery silver vest and skirt piece. She was dressed in pink and silver and had a jeweled pink staff. She had real rooted pink flowing hair that you could comb, and beautiful makeup on her face. She joined the rest of the rebellion in this new genre of action dolls.

Glimmer also appeared on the art for the Power Con 2020 exclusive She-Ra figure.

Angella
Angella Princess of Power is a fictional character from the 1980s animated television series “She-Ra: Princess of Power.” She is the wise and compassionate ruler of the kingdom of Bright Moon and the leader of the Great Rebellion, a group of rebels fighting against the evil Horde. Angella has the power of flight and the ability to create energy shields to protect herself and others.
Angella is portrayed as a strong and determined leader who is dedicated to protecting her kingdom and its people. She is also depicted as a loving and caring mother to her daughter, Glimmer, who is also a member of the Great Rebellion. Throughout the series, Angella serves as a mentor and guide to the other members of the rebellion, offering advice and guidance when needed.
Overall, Angella Princess of Power is a beloved character known for her grace, wisdom, and bravery in the face of adversity. She is a powerful symbol of female empowerment and leadership in the world of animation.

Angella was also released as part of the MOTU Classics line and came with her sword, a detachable halo, and detachable articulated wings.

Peekablue
Peekablue is a character of the She-Ra and the Princess of Power Filmation series. She is a member of the Great Rebellion and posses powers such as Clairvoyance, which her blue peacock feathers give her the ability of enhanced sight. With them, she is able to see into the far reaches of the universe.

Peekablue was released as a figure in the Masters of The Universe Classics line. Her MOTU Classics bio reads: “A magical princess of Etheria, Penelope has the power to see in all directions. Her fabulous peacock feathers fan out into a beautiful plumage which is the source of her powers and making her a master spy. She is so proud of them that she likes to strut around Etheria just to show them off. It is the eyes at the tips of these pretty plumes that give her the power of omnidirectional vision. This bird’s eye view of all Etheria lets her know when Catra and the Horde make mischief. After the Horde left Etheria, she joined She-Ra and the other members of the Great Rebellion on Eternia to continue to fight for freedom and peace. During the Second Ultimate Battleground she fought side by side with Man-E-Faces, eventually falling in love with him and choosing to stay on Eternia as a member of the Masters of the Universe.”

Sorceress
The first time the Sorceress was teased for the Cartoon Collection was when Mattel surprised us a very cool stopmotion video by @stuntpuppetpictures, entitled “Pearl of Power” featuring the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection! Filmation Sorceress
The Sorceress was my all time favorite character from the Filmation Cartoon Series, which I think is obvious given this is being written by your own Toy Sorceress! She was powerful, mystical, kind and wise, and I really loved how she changed form into a beautiful bird! Getting a Cartoon Collection of the Sorceress would be incredible as if we look at the MOTU Club Grayskull version of 2018, you will see how wonderful she can look in her animated style!
According to: The Sorceress | Wiki Grayskull | Fandom:
The Sorceress was the mistress and guardian of the Secrets of Castle Grayskull, the source of He-Man’s great power. Although considered one of the three most powerful beings on Eternia, she exemplified humility and a truly selfless nature, never seeking credit for her efforts or aid. She dwelled alone within Castle Grayskull, keeping watch over Eternia and acting as a guide to He-Man.
Once named Teela Na, her home, the village of Nowella, was attacked, and subsequently conquered, by Morgoth and his allies Ferros, Repta, and Rachney, servants of the Evil Horde. With the aid of an old storyteller’s rhyme: In barren places find ye hope/And where no water springs, no plant grows, no wind blows/Find all you need…), Teela Na sought out Castle Grayskull, which she hoped would help her find a way to defeat her captors. Just as she was about to succumb to the Eternian wastelands, the mystical fortress appeared before Teela Na’s eyes, and she was invited inside by a mysterious voice. Once inside she came across an old woman, her predecessor as the Sorceress; Kuduk Ungol. Her predecessor invited her to take up the mantle of Castle Grayskull’s protector, and explained her duties as such: Teela Na accepted the offer and immersed herself in the Pool of Power, which inundated her with the powers of Castle Grayskull. Once she had taken her place as the guardian of Castle Grayskull, the Sorceress returned to Nowella and overthrew the invaders before returning to her new home inside Castle Grayskull.

Sorceress in action figure form
The Sorceress was first released as an action figure by Mattel back in 1986, as part of the last wave of figures and fetches a very high price on the vintage aftermarket. Always thought of as a grail piece by vintage MOTU collectors, the Sorceress had a very cute vintage charm but didn’t quite reflect her look in the Filmation cartoon series. Pictured below is a beautiful carded version of the Sorceress, and an uncarded vintage version, from my very own personal collection. You might recogize here from my avatar!, Yes this is the actual “The Toy Sorceress”!

MOTU Classics then released a version the Sorceress in 2012, but again this one was based on the vintage action figure with a lot more detail and articulation in the MOTU Classics style.

The Sorceress was released in action figure form in 2018 as part of the MOTU Classics Club Grayskull line by Super 7. She looked exactly like she did in the Filmation Cartoon series, and came with an alternate head sculpt and a Zoar companion bird with perch.

The next version of the Sorceress came in 2021 as part of Wave 7 in the MOTU Origins line. This was a perfect Origins Style homage to the original vintage 1986 Sorceress action figure! And finally the last figure we got was the recent Masterverse Revelation Sorceress shown below.
