Serpentor and Air Chariot GI Joe Classified Series Pulse Con Exclusive In Hand Images

Thanks to Lenny (aka weatherdominator) from the Joe team, we have in hand images that give us an up close and personal look at the Serpentor and Air Chariot GI Joe Classified Series Pulse Con 2022 exclusive! Seeing Serpentor up close, you get a whole new perspective on the sculpting, the intricate textures, and the commanding look that was designed to make this figure larger-than-life. Pairing him with the iconic Air Chariot just takes it to another level, as it perfectly captures the essence of Serpentor’s debut. I personally love getting to see these exclusives outside of promo images, as it gives a truer sense of how they’ll look in our displays and collections. The Pulse Con 2022 exclusive was already a highly coveted piece, but these fresh images really drive home just how much care went into bringing Serpentor and his chariot to Classified scale. For longtime fans and new collectors alike, it’s a thrill to see this powerhouse villain and his signature ride brought to life in such a striking way!
October 24, 2022 UPDATE: Air Chariot In Hand Images
Lenny from the Joe team is at again posting images of the Air Chariot and one of Serpentor holding the large canon with some blast effects!
We get an up close and personal look at the Air Chariot and the controls and the detail is riveting! Speaking of riveting, you can see that detail on the inside view behind the snake where the controls are and the detail is outstanding!
You can also see the hinged jaw with the weapon coming out of the mouth, which so freakin cool!
October 23, 2022: Serpentor In Hand Images

Before he was officially in the line I always knew I wanted to enhance the Cobra Emperor’s textures. I could imagine how epic he would look with his snake details and scales pushed in a more realistic direction. So it was super important that I designed the snake skin pattern to his suit in a way that made sense from an anatomy stand point. However I also needed to pay respect the the original design. The brass/gold color was something I found so fascinating as kid more than that the metallic finish brings his textures to life. As always it was a pleasure working with @corycantelupe @thegreattonino and @morphinomenally_emily

The details on Serpentor are truly outstanding! The snake texture really comes through and the facial features look amazing! This might be one of their best face sculpts yet! The snakes coming off the shoulders are also a very nice touch!
The soft goods cape ads other textures as well but they all play very nice together as to now seem overwhelming. The staff looks great in his hand and we can’t wait for this figure to be released for shipping!
Serpentor and the Air Chariot
Back on April 15, 2022, we speculated that a deluxe Serpentor could be in the works given Dr. Mindbender’s royal deluxe GI Joe Classified Series treatment on Episode 66 of our Youtube channel, entitled Gi Joe Classified Series Speculation | Could a Deluxe Serpentor Follow the Dr. Mindbender Reveal?
Today we got official images thru Emily of the Hasbro GI Joe Team’s Instagram Page of Serpentor and his Air Chariot which is said to be an upcoming Pulse Con exclusive!
According to Emily of the GI Joe Hasbro team:
morphinomenally_emily: So while we couldn’t stream the @gijoe#sdcc panel for everyone at home to watch, we can post some higher res pictures of the products we revealed! Here are the pictures of Serpentor (our upcoming PulseCon exclusive), the new retro cardback Crimson Guard and Snake Eyes figures, and four super early development sneak peeks at Rock N Roll, Torpedo, Copperhead, and Shipwreck! Box and Art
Serpentor’s box and art is beautiful and is in the same style as Dr. Mindbender’s deluxe style box! It features artwork of the Air Chariot plus the weapons and accessory pack out that Serpentor comes with in an amazing
The back of the box features places where Destro was collecting samples of DNA from the great villainous leaders in history! As we know from the GI Joe mini-series Arise, Serpentor Arise, Serpentor was created by Cobra scientist Dr. Mindbender as part of a conspiracy within Cobra to create the perfect soldier but, in actuality, Mindbender and Destro were plotting to create a leader to supplant Cobra Commander. Raiding several tombs that contain history’s greatest warriors and their DNA, this would serve as the genetic blueprint for this super soldier. Possessing the acute military genius, courage, daring, charisma, political know how and fighting prowess of these historic leaders, what could go wrong??? If you have not checked out our Deluxe GI Joe Classified Series Serpentor speculation video, please do so as we have fun thinking about the possibilities now they have become a reality!
The other box art for Serpentor features him and his throne sitting on the lap of the Lincoln memorial, which is so apropos! It also features an amazing scene of Cobra aircraft feeling the Cobra stronghold in victory! A funny scene has him punching the lights out of Cobra Commander, which is hilarious and very well illustrated!
Figure and Air Chariot
The Serpentor figure and Air Chariot look impressive! Rather than coming with a soft goods cape, it appears that he comes with a plastic green version that has snake skin texturing on it. In fact, there is snake skin texting all over him and is very subtle and well executed as to not to overwhelm the figure or the Air Chariot
You also get to see the inside of the Air Chariot with the handle bars and flight controls. The riveting details are a nice touch as it ads a meal look to the gold vehicle!
